Frame Features

The frame features a 10.1 IPS Touch Screen.

Getting Started

Install the Stand

Fit the stand into the frame bracket on the back. The frame can be placed in landscape or portrait orientation. For the first setup, landscape orientation is recommended. The frame can also be mounted on the wall using the Wall Mount Hole on the back.

Power On

Connect the Power Cable to your frame and plug the Power Adapter into the wall socket. The frame will enter the system in seconds.

Initial Settings

Upon first use, you will be guided through initial settings, including Wi-Fi connection, device information, and sleep mode configuration.

Connect to Wi-Fi

Select your Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the password if required. If your network is not visible, move the frame closer to your router and try again.

Download the Uhale App

To send photos to your frame, download the Uhale App for iOS or Android. Search for "Uhale" on the App Store or Google Play. Scan the provided QR codes to download and install the app on your mobile device.

Quick Setup

When starting your frame for the first time, follow these steps:

  1. Uhale Frame may prompt for an upgrade to the latest version. It is recommended to perform the upgrade.
  2. Choose your preferred language.
  3. Connect the photo frame to the Internet via Wi-Fi.
  4. Set the date, time, and time zone.
  5. Name the photo frame (e.g., "Jack's Frame") and set its location (e.g., "Living Room").
  6. Refer to the quick guide on the Uhale frame for further assistance.

Bind Your Frame

To share photos with friends and family:

  1. Ensure your friend has downloaded and installed the Uhale App.
  2. On your frame, tap the "[Add friend]" icon. A dialog will appear showing a QR code and an SN code (valid for 12 hours).
  3. Share the QR code or SN code with your friend via SMS, IM, or phone call.
  4. Once connected, your friend will appear in the sharing list on your frame.

Share Photos

You can share photos and videos in four ways:

1. Uhale App

Quick Setup

The app functions as a transfer tool. You can log in with a visitor account (temporary, data deleted upon uninstall/reset) or an email account (usage data saved in the cloud). Email accounts retain usage data like avatar, nickname, and frame binding relationships.

Photo Share

Photo Share: Select up to 50 pictures, choose photo frames, edit pictures (adjust focus, name photos), and send.

Video Share

Video Share: Select one video (up to 30 seconds long), choose a photo frame, edit the video (length, naming), and send.

History

Check the status of photo sending tasks and perform actions on the sending history side.

  • Delete: Deletes local history data (does not delete framed photos).
  • Clear: Clears history data (does not delete tasks in the sent state).
  • Resend: Resend a photo to other frames.
  • Withdraw: Deletes local history data and frame photos, provided the history record exists and the frame is online.

2. Uhale Web

Uhale Web is a PC online transferring tool for Uhale Frames, allowing you to share up to 500 photos at once.

Log in and Log out

Scan code login: Visit https://uhale.zeasn.tv. Download, install, and open the Uhale App on your mobile device, then find the QR code [scan] to log in, or use visitor/account login. After logging in, the webpage synchronizes information from the app/account.

Log out: To switch accounts, log out from the upper right corner and scan the code to log in with another account.

Photo Sharing (Web)

Photo Selection

After logging in, select photos to share in two ways:

  1. Click to open the local folder and select photos.
  2. Drag photos or a folder directly to the upload area, then click [Next] to upload.

NOTE:

  • Hold Ctrl to select multiple photos or drag photos to the area.
  • Supported photo formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP.

Photo Editing

When photos are on the transfer list, you can edit their information, such as adding photos, renaming, and removing them.

Frame Selection

After editing, click [Next] to select a photo frame. If a device is bound, online frame information will be displayed. Otherwise, you will be prompted to bind a device via the app.

Send

Select the photo frame and click [Send]. A task will be created in the taskbar. Check the photo sending progress on the page or click [History] to view it.

Profile

Basic information is displayed under the profile section.

  • Connected Frames: Displays information of connected frames, including name, location, and status.
  • Privacy Policy: Displays the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
  • Support: Displays contact information for the support team.

Photo Sharing (Taskbar/History)

The Taskbar displays photo transfer tasks for users to check sending progress. It supports quick operations like re-send, withdraw, and delete.

  • View history: Click [View History] to access the history record, which shows transmission details of tasks.
  • Maximize/Restore Taskbar: Maximize to view all tasks, or restore to a smaller window.
  • Resend: Re-select the photo frame to send photos again.
  • Withdraw: Withdraw photos from the photo frame.
  • Delete: Delete the current task.

The History section provides similar functions to the Taskbar but allows viewing detailed task status (successful, transferring, failed).

Photo Management

3. SD Card

You can copy photos and videos to an SD card, then insert it into the frame. Import photos via [Frame] - [Settings] – [Manage Photos] – [Import Photos]. You can also directly play back photos from the SD card without importing.

4. USB

You can copy photos and videos to a USB flash drive, then insert it into the frame. Import photos via [Frame] - [Settings] - [Manage Photos] - [Import Photos]. You can also directly play back photos from the USB flash drive without importing.

Memory Usage

The Manage Photo section shows the number of photos stored in the frame and the available/used storage space.

Show/Hide Photos

Select a photo to hide it by tapping. Hidden photos are not deleted and can be re-displayed later. Use the [select/deselect all] icon to manage all photos.

Favorite Photos

Select photos to remove them from your favorites by tapping.

Delete Photos

Select photos to permanently delete them from the frame by tapping. Use the [select/deselect all] icon to select multiple photos and the [delete selected photos] icon to remove them.

You can also withdraw photos/videos already sent to the frame via the Uhale mobile app (this requires history to be retained and the frame to be online).

To withdraw: Navigate to Uhale "history", then select the icon of the photos you wish to withdraw.

Manage Account

This section lists all connected accounts authorized to send photos to your frame.

Add a New Account

To add a new authorized account, tap the device share button and share the displayed SN or QR code with your friend.

Account Settings

  1. Remove an account: Removing an account prevents it from sharing photos with your frame.
  2. Delete shared photos: Delete all photos shared by a specific account.
  3. Delete the account (without deleting shared photos): Remove an account from the list without deleting its shared photos.

Click the [favorite icon] on the screen to favorite the current photo or video.

Best Wishes

Show wishes sent by family or friends. Manage blessings in [Settings] - [Manage photos] - [Best wishes].

How to send wishes:

  1. Open the Uhale APP on your phone. Tap the [Gift icon].
  2. Note: Please upgrade the APP to version 3.14 or above.
  3. Write down your wishes in text.
  4. Select a style.
  5. Choose a frame(s) to send wishes to.

FAQ

  1. Is the frame install a battery?
    Answer: No, this photo frame operates only with an adapter.
  2. Why can't I power on when I plug in the adapter and press the power button?
    Answer: Confirm the adapter is plugged in and the power supply is active.
  3. Can I share photos to friends and family through the frame?
    Answer: Yes, via the website or the Uhale APP.
  4. What kind of app should I download for the photo frame?
