What is the Amazon FBA New Selection Incentive Plan?

This plan is applicable to your eligible Amazon FBA new parent ASINs, with unlimited participation.

Launched in March 2019, Amazon FBA introduced a limited-time offer for monthly storage and removal fee waivers for new ASINs. In April 2021, this plan was upgraded to the "Amazon FBA New Selection Incentive Plan."

This plan encourages sellers to list new products and provides corresponding rewards to reduce the risks and costs associated with testing new products.

Sellers who list new parent ASINs that meet certain conditions can receive limited-time fee reductions for monthly storage, removal fees, and return processing fees.

Introduction to the Amazon FBA New Selection Incentive Plan

The new version is effective from March 1, 2024.

Eligibility:

Existing Amazon FBA sellers must register to join. (Registration Link)
New sellers joining Amazon FBA (creating their first FBA shipment for a purchasable ASIN within 90 days of listing their first purchasable ASIN on or after March 1, 2024) will be automatically enrolled in this plan.

New Upgraded Significant Benefits

The plan features five major upgrades:

More Marketplaces for Rebates: Canada now offers sales rebates for new product listings, with an average rebate of 10%.
Higher Rebates: The average 10% sales rebate coverage has expanded, including eligible private label products.
Longer Duration: The return processing and free inventory storage periods for bulky items have been extended from 90 days to 120 days.
Increased Quantities: For bulky items, the limits for returns, free storage, and removal have increased from 30 to 50 units.
Vine Program Benefits: Enjoy a 25% discount on Vine program registration fees for up to 10 new selection products in FBA.

New Seller Auto-Enrollment Plan

If you are a new seller and listed your first purchasable ASIN on or after March 1, 2024 (Pacific Time), and created your first FBA shipment within 90 days, you will be automatically enrolled in the Amazon FBA New Selection Incentive Plan without needing to register manually. You can view plan details, including your enrollment status, eligibility, enrolled ASINs, sales, and savings, through the Amazon FBA New Selection Incentive Plan control panel.

*Applicable to sellers operating in the US, Japan, UK, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy marketplaces.

How to Join Manually?

If you do not meet the conditions for automatic enrollment as a new seller, you can visit the "Amazon FBA New Selection Incentive Plan" help page on the Seller Central platform and click "Enroll Now" on the page to join the plan.

For sellers who joined on or after March 1, 2022 (Pacific Time), you only need to register once in any applicable marketplace. You will then automatically enjoy the benefits of the Amazon FBA New Selection Incentive Plan for your eligible new products in all marketplaces where you have an active account. If you have already registered in one marketplace, you do not need to register in other marketplaces.

For all eligible new parent ASINs joining Amazon FBA, sellers participating in the Amazon FBA New Selection Incentive Plan are eligible for limited-time waivers on monthly storage fees, slow-moving inventory bulk removal fees, and return processing fees. Eligible new sellers are also entitled to advertising and shipping fee discounts.

If you are already an Amazon FBA seller, you must register to participate. After registration, eligibility for fee waivers will be determined based on the following criteria. If you are a new seller and listed your first purchasable ASIN in 2022 and started using Amazon FBA, you will be automatically enrolled in this plan.
