Important Safety Information
Your child's safety is paramount. Please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Always follow the instructions in this manual for correct installation. Incorrect installation can compromise safety.
- Keep this manual for future reference.
- Never install the car seat in a seating position with an active frontal airbag unless the airbag is deactivated according to vehicle manufacturer instructions.
- Replace the car seat after any accident, regardless of severity, as hidden damage may affect safety. Axkid does not recommend purchasing used car seats.
- Ensure the car seat is not too hot before placing your child in it, especially after exposure to direct sunlight.
- Never leave your child unattended in the vehicle.
- Secure all luggage and loose objects in the vehicle to prevent them from becoming projectiles during a sudden stop or accident.
- Ensure no parts of the car seat become trapped by movable vehicle seats or doors during installation.
- If using lower tether anchorage straps, ensure they do not impede the movement of any vehicle seat.
- The Axkid Minikid 3 must always be installed rear-facing.
- Adjust the harness to fit your child snugly. The harness height is adjusted via the head support.
- Ensure your child's back is pressed firmly against the car seat when using the harness.
- The harness straps should be tight enough that you cannot pinch any slack between your fingers.
- Ensure there are no twists in the harness straps.
- The support leg must be correctly positioned and in firm contact with the vehicle floor for optimal safety.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or modify any part of the car seat, as this may void the warranty and affect safety performance.
- Always use the textile cover; it is a safety feature and should only be replaced with an official Axkid cover.
- Consult your vehicle handbook and the Axkid vehicle list for suitable seating positions.
- Axkid recommends using a seat protector to safeguard your vehicle's upholstery.
