Safety
Important Safety Information:
- Keep ventilation openings clear.
- Do not use mechanical devices to accelerate defrosting.
- Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
- Ensure the power cord is not damaged during installation.
- Do not position multi-sockets or distributor strips at the rear of appliances.
- The interior LED light replacement or repair should only be performed by trained personnel.
- Avoid looking directly at the LED light from close distance if the cover is defective, as it may damage your eyes.
- Secure the appliance as described in the installation instructions to prevent instability.
- Do not use electrical appliances inside food storage compartments unless recommended by the manufacturer.
- Any repairs should only be performed by authorized service personnel.
- Do not stand on the toe kick, drawers, or doors.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- Do not store explosive substances like aerosol cans.
- Installation should be performed by four people.
- Check for damage after unpacking and contact the supplier if damaged. Do not connect to the mains power supply.
- Avoid prolonged skin contact with cold surfaces.
- Do not consume food stored for too long.
- Only perform repairs when the plug is disconnected.
- Only install, connect, and dispose of the appliance as described in this manual.
- In case of a fault, pull out the plug or switch off the fuse.
- When disconnecting, pull by the plug, not the cable.
- Do not keep keys for lockable appliances near the appliance or within reach of children.
- The appliance is designed for enclosed rooms; do not operate outdoors or in wet areas.
- Do not use the interior LED light to illuminate the room.
- Do not allow naked flames or ignition sources into the appliance.
- Seal alcoholic drinks tightly for storage.
R600a Refrigerant: The refrigerant R600a is environmentally friendly but flammable. Leaking refrigerant can ignite.
Electrical Safety: Connect to a 15-amp or 20-amp, 110-120 VAC grounded circuit with a circuit breaker or fuse. Use a dedicated circuit. The appliance has a three-prong plug for shock hazard protection. If a two-prong receptacle is encountered, contact a qualified electrician for replacement.
Safety Regulations: The appliance is intended for household and similar applications. It is not intended for outdoor use. The appliance operates within specific ambient temperature limits (SN-T: 50°F to 109°F / 10°C to 43°C).
Disposal of Old Appliance: Take off doors, leave shelves in place, cut off the power cord, and follow local requirements for disposal. Contact your local trash collection agency.
Disposal of Packaging Material: Packaging is made of recyclable materials. Keep away from children as polythene sheets and bags can cause suffocation. Recycle packaging material where possible.

Water Filter
Install the water filter in the interior rear wall of the refrigerator compartment before turning on the appliance. This ensures good ice cube quality and keeps the water circuit free of solids.
Replace the filter when the drop symbol appears on the temperature display. Filters can be obtained from your Liebherr Dealer or Distributor.
Installing the Water Filter:
- Remove the cover of the filter socket.
- Insert the filter and turn it 90° clockwise.
Removing the Water Filter:
- Turn the filter 90° counterclockwise and remove.
WARNING: To avoid the risk of bacteria growth, the water filter must be changed when the waterdrop symbol appears on the display!
It is not necessary to turn off the water supply when removing or installing the water filter.

Operating and Control Elements: The electronic control panel uses touch capacitance technology.
Temperature and Control Display: Displays refrigerator and freezer temperatures, and indicates when the water filter needs changing, Sabbath mode is activated, or menu mode is active.
- Refrigerator operating icons: Alarm mute, Supercool, Refrigerator On/Off, Temperature Up/Down.
- Appliance control icons: Power Failure LED, Air Filter LED, Supercooling LED, Child Lock LED, Alarm LED, IceMaker LED, Superfrost LED.
- Freezer operating icons: Temperature Up/Down, Freezer On/Off, Superfrost, IceMaker On/Off.
Arranging Food: Specific recommendations for storing butter, cheese, eggs, drinks, meat, dairy products, baked goods, pre-cooked meals, and fruit/vegetables.
- Store foods that give off or absorb odors in covered containers.
- Seal high-percentage alcohols tightly and store upright.
- Fruit, vegetables, and salad can be stored unpacked in bins.
Shelf Arrangement: Instructions for removing and installing vegetable drawers.
Interior Light: Located in the refrigerator and freezer compartments. Turns on when a door or drawer is opened and turns off automatically after approximately 15 minutes. The light cover should only be removed by customer service staff. Caution: Risk of eye damage from direct exposure to the LED light.
Freezer Compartment Description: The ice maker is in the upper drawer. The upper drawer has a partition for ice cubes. The bottom drawer is for freezing and storing food.

Operation
Turning the Appliance On and Off: Touch the Refrigerator On/Off and Freezer On/Off icons. The interior light turns on if a door or drawer is open.
Setting the Temperature: Recommended temperatures are 38°F (3°C) in the refrigerator and 0°F (-18°C) in the freezer. Use the Up/Down icons to adjust. The display will flash while setting and show the actual temperature after a few seconds. Temperatures can be set between 36°F-44°F (2°C-6°C) for the refrigerator and -15°F-7°F (-27°C-14°C) for the freezer.
Temperature Display: Shows average refrigerator temperature and warmest frozen food temperature. Dashes appear initially until the freezer reaches the required temperature. The display will flash if the temperature changes or if there is a fault (F1-F5).
Audible Alarm Signal: Alerts to protect frozen food and save energy. Touch the alarm icon to switch off. The door alarm sounds if a door is left open for over 180 seconds. The temperature alarm sounds if the freezer temperature is too high.
Power Failure/Frost-Control Display: The power failure LED indicates if the freezer temperature has risen too high. Touching the Alarm icon displays the highest registered temperature during the power failure.
Supercool: Touch the Supercool icon to switch the refrigerator to maximum cooling. The LED turns on. The function automatically switches back to normal operation after approximately six hours.
Setup Mode: Access by touching the Superfrost icon for five seconds. Functions include Sabbath mode, Child proof lock, Drop symbol reset, Ice maker function test, Water quantity adjustment, Temperature display mode (Celsius/Fahrenheit), Display brightness, Lower hinge heating control, and Reset Air filter LED.
- Sabbath Mode: Considers religious requirements. Certain functions are switched off. The door can be opened and closed, but the lighting remains off, and there are no door or temperature alarms.
- Child Lock: Prevents accidental switching off. Activate via setup mode.
- Drop Symbol Reset: Reset after changing the water filter.
- Water Quantity for Ice Cube Tray: Adjust if ice cubes are too small. Do not increase by more than one step.
- Temperature Display Mode: Switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
- Display Brightness: Adjust from h0 (minimum) to h5 (maximum).
- Lower Hinge Heating Control: Adjust output to prevent condensation in the lower hinge area.
- Reset Air Filter LED: Reset after cleaning the air filter.
Defrosting/Cleaning
Defrosting: The refrigerator compartment defrosts automatically. The NoFrost system automatically defrosts the freezer compartment.
Cleaning:
- Disconnect the power cord or turn off the circuit breaker before cleaning.
- Do not use steam cleaning equipment.
- Ensure no water penetrates electrical components. Do not use overly wet sponges or cloths.
- Do not use abrasive or scouring sponges, concentrated cleaning agents, abrasive or acid cleaners, or chemical solvents.
- Remove all food and store temporarily in a cool place.
- Remove door racks, vegetable drawers, glass shelves, and freezer drawer containers as instructed in the manual.
- A mixture of lukewarm water and dishwasher detergent is recommended.
- Do not clean parts in a dishwasher.
- Dry all parts thoroughly.
- Do not damage or remove the model plate.
- Install all parts, replace food, and turn the appliance on.
Cleaning Instructions for Stainless Steel Panels: Use a good quality stainless steel cleaner or polish monthly. Do not use steel wool pads, abrasive pads, or cleaners not intended for stainless steel.
Cleaning the Air Filter: Open the bottom freezer drawer, remove the ventilation grille and air filter. Clean the filter in a dishwasher or by hand with lukewarm water and dishwasher detergent. Install in reverse order. Reset the air filter LED.
Vacation Tips
Short Vacations (less than four weeks): Shut off the water supply to the ice maker. Leave the ice maker on for one day to eject remaining ice cubes. Touch the IceMaker icon to turn it off. Transfer ice cubes and use perishables.
Long Vacations (one month or more): Shut off water supply. Eject remaining ice. Turn off the IceMaker. Remove all ice cubes. Remove all food. Turn off the refrigerator and freezer compartments. Clean the appliance. Leave doors and drawers open to prevent odors and mold.
Turning on the ice maker after vacation: Open the water supply. Touch the IceMaker icon to turn it on. Do not consume the first three batches of ice.
Troubleshooting
General Troubleshooting: Check if the appliance is turned on, power cord is inserted, and circuit breaker/fuse is functional. Ensure the appliance is turned on for interior light issues. Check ambient temperature, door opening frequency, amount of food added, and SuperCool mode status for motor running too long or temperature not cold enough.
Freezer temperature display shows two dashes "--": This indicates the freezer is starting up and has not yet reached freezing temperatures. This can take three to five hours and may also occur after a power failure.
Ice Maker Troubleshooting:
- Ice maker cannot be turned on: Check electrical connection, ensure ice maker is turned on.
- Ice maker is not making any ice: Check water supply line and ensure both freezer drawers are closed properly.
Customer Service: If faults cannot be rectified, contact your nearest customer service representative. Provide appliance type, service number, and serial number from the model plate.
