Assembly Instructions

Step 1. Create Base

Attach the Connection Plates (C1) to the Spanner Tubes (C2) using 8 Screws (H6). Ensure that the open slots in the Connection Plates are facing up. Tighten with Hex Wrench (T1).

Diagram shows two Spanner Tubes (C2) positioned parallel, with Connection Plates (C1) connecting their ends. Eight Screws (H6) are used to secure the plates to the tubes, with the open slots of the plates oriented upwards.

Step 2. Prepare Legs

Partially thread 2 Screws (H2) into the lower, closer together set of holes in each Leg (C3) as shown. Leave at least 1/4" (6mm) gap between the head of the screw and the leg.

Attach the 4 Shelf Supports (C4) to the 2 Legs (C3) using 4 Screws (H1) in the orientation shown. Tighten screws with Hex Wrench (T1).

Diagram shows two Legs (C3), each with two Screws (H2) partially inserted into the bottom holes. Four Shelf Supports (C4) are attached to the inner sides of the Legs (C3) using Screws (H1).

Step 3. Attach Legs to Base

Slide the Screws in the Legs (C3) into the slots in the Connection Plates (C1).

Thread the remaining 4 Screws (H2) into the holes in the Legs (C3). Tighten all screws with Hex Wrench (T1).

Diagram shows the base assembly from Step 1, with the Legs (C3) now attached to the Connection Plates (C1) via the pre-inserted Screws (H2). Additional Screws (H2) are shown being inserted into the Legs (C3) to secure them further.

Step 4. Attach Shelf to Base Assembly

Lay the Base Assembly on its side. Install the Shelf (C5) to the Shelf Supports (C4) using 8 Screws (H3). Do not tighten until all screws are installed. When all screws have been installed, tighten with Hex Wrench (T1).

Diagram shows the base assembly with legs attached. The Shelf (C5) is placed onto the Shelf Supports (C4) and secured with eight Screws (H3).

Step 5. Attach Base Assembly to End Table Case

Attach the Base Assembly to the End Table Case (C6) with 4 Screws (H4). Tighten with Hex Wrench (T1).

Diagram shows the assembled base structure being connected to the main End Table Case (C6) using four Screws (H4).

Step 6. Install Drawer Pull

Carefully flip the table onto its base. Open the drawer and install the Drawer Pull (C7) using 2 Wood Screws (H5). Tighten with Phillips Head Screwdriver (not included).

Diagram shows the Drawer Pull (C7) being attached to the front of the drawer on the end table using two Wood Screws (H5) and a Phillips Head Screwdriver.

Care & Maintenance

Your BDI furniture has been constructed with the finest materials, carefully manufactured, and designed to last a lifetime. Regular furniture care will prolong your enjoyment and keep it looking its best. Here are some general tips for taking care of BDI furniture. Your surfaces may vary.

Wood

Wood surfaces should be cleaned with a slightly damp (not saturated) cloth or paper towel. Do not use glass cleaner on wood. If moisture remains, dry the surface with another cloth. If needed, a gentle, non-abrasive cleanser may be used, but wipe away all cleaner residue and dry the surface with a cloth.

BDI's wood finishes feature natural hardwood solids and veneers. Wood is a product of nature and—unlike man-made materials that can be manufactured to strict and consistent specifications—has natural imperfections that are part of its appeal and character. Every piece of wood differs from every other, even when coming from the very same tree. As such, grain, texture, and tone variation should be expected from one panel or piece of furniture to the next.

While BDI's stained wood finishes are stable in tone & appearance, all finishes are subject to some degree of discoloration with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Please avoid positioning your BDI cabinet in any area with ample direct sunlight. To learn more about the features of natural wood, visit www.bdiusa.com/wood.

Metal, Porcelain, & Painted Surfaces

Surfaces should be cleaned with a slightly damp (not saturated) cloth or paper towel. If moisture remains, dry the surface with another cloth. If needed, a gentle, non-abrasive cleanser may be used, but be sure to wipe away all cleaner residue and dry the surface with a cloth.
