The Anybus Industrial WLAN Access Points provide robust wireless LAN connectivity for industrial environments. These devices receive and transmit data across various physical levels and connection types, ensuring reliable network communication.

Hardware Description and Connectors

The product line includes two models: AWB5141, designed for indoor use with an IP30 rating, and AWB5142, built for harsher conditions with an IP67 rating.

Intended Use

Installation Guidelines

AWB5141 IP30 Version Installation

  1. Mount the device on a standard DIN rail using the included DIN clip.
  2. Establish a direct connection between the ground screw and a grounding surface.
  3. Connect the antennas.
  4. Connect the Ethernet cable.
  5. Connect the power supply via Ethernet or using the included plug connector.

AWB5142 IP67 Version Installation

  1. Mount the device on a pole or wall.
  2. Connect the antennas.
  3. Connect the Ethernet cable.
  4. Connect the power supply via Ethernet.
