Icon Legend

Mesh Intercom Antenna: Pull the Mesh Intercom Antenna outwards slightly to unfold it.

Phone Pairing
Mobile Phone Pairing
Press and hold the [Phone Button] and [Jog Dial] for 3 seconds when the Harley-Davidson Audio 50S is turned off.
Alternating blue and red flashing lights indicate the device is discoverable. With your mobile phone in Bluetooth-pairing mode, select "H-D Audio 50S" in the list of detected devices.

Bluetooth Pairing with WHIM
On the Boom! Box radio, navigate to: Home > Setup > Wireless > Headset Setup > Pair Rider (select).

Siri and Google Assistant
Activate the Siri or Google Assistant installed on your smartphone by saying "Hey Google" or "Hey Siri", or by using [Phone Button] [tap] (1x).

Mesh Intercom™
When Mesh Intercom is enabled, the Harley-Davidson Audio 50S automatically connects to nearby Harley-Davidson Audio 50S users, allowing them to communicate by pressing the [Mesh Intercom Button].
Mesh Intercom On

Open Mesh™
When Mesh Intercom is enabled, the headset defaults to Open Mesh (channel 1). Users can communicate freely within the same Open Mesh channel.
Channel Setting (Default: channel 1)
If Open Mesh communication experiences interference from other groups using channel 1, you can change the channel. Options range from channels 1 to 9.
- Enter Channel Setting: [Mesh Intercom Button] [tap] (2x) - "Channel setting, 1"
- Navigate Channels: [Jog Dial] [rotate right] or [Jog Dial] [rotate left] to cycle through channels (1 > 2 > ... > 8 > 9 > Exit > 1 ...).
- Save Channel: [Jog Dial] [tap] (1x) - "Channel is set, channel #"
Note: To exit Channel Setting, rotate the Jog Dial until you hear "Exit", then tap the Jog Dial.
Group Mesh™
Group Mesh is a closed group intercom function allowing users to join, leave, or rejoin conversations without individual headset pairing. Up to 24 users can connect in each private group.
Creating a Group Mesh
Creating a Group Mesh requires two or more Open Mesh users.
1. Enter Mesh Grouping: [Mesh Intercom Button] [hold] (5s) - "Mesh Grouping"
2. The headsets complete Mesh Grouping and automatically switch from Open Mesh to Group Mesh, indicated by the prompt "Group Mesh".
Joining an Existing Group Mesh
One of the current members in an Existing Group Mesh can allow new members in Open Mesh to join.
1. Enter Mesh Grouping: One current member and a new member use [Mesh Intercom Button] [hold] (5s) - "Mesh Grouping"
2. The headsets complete Mesh Grouping. New members will hear a prompt as their headsets automatically switch from Open Mesh to Group Mesh ("Group Mesh").
Reset Mesh
If a headset in Open Mesh or Group Mesh resets the Mesh, it will automatically return to Open Mesh (default: channel 1).

Enable/Disable Mic (Default: Enable)
Users can enable or disable the microphone when communicating in a Mesh Intercom.

Bluetooth Intercom
Up to three other people can be paired with the headset for Bluetooth intercom conversations. There are two ways to pair the headset.
Using the Smart Intercom Pairing (SIP)
SIP allows quick pairing with friends for intercom communication by scanning a QR code on the SENA MOTORCYCLES App, without needing to remember button operations.
- Pair your mobile phone with the headset.
- Open the SENA MOTORCYCLES App and tap the [Smart Intercom Pairing Menu icon].
- Scan the QR code displayed on your friend's mobile phone. (Your friend can display their QR code by tapping > QR code [QR code icon] on the SENA MOTORCYCLES App.)
- Tap Save and verify that your friend is paired correctly.
- Tap Scan and repeat steps 3-4 to pair with additional friends.
Note: Smart Intercom Pairing (SIP) is not compatible with Harley-Davidson products using Bluetooth 3.0 or below.
Using the Button
[Phone Button] and [Jog Dial] [hold] (5s) - "Intercom Pairing"
The Harley-Davidson Audio 50S will automatically pair with a Harley-Davidson headset. A flashing blue LED confirms intercoms are paired.
Note: Repeat this step to pair with additional intercom friends.
