2) Pair Your Wheel to Your Home Network
(Image description: Icons representing a smartphone, tablet, and Apple logo, indicating compatible devices.)
Wi-Fi Parameters:
- SSID: TM_Connect_98378F
- IP: 29.7.19.99
- UDP: 0
- MAC: 48-3F-DA-98-37-8F
- Signal Strength: 100.0%
This wheel includes a Wi-Fi module to let you enjoy display functionalities through UDP-compatible games.
This Wi-Fi module has a unique identifier and when it is not paired to a network, it will broadcast its identifier. In the example, it is 'TM_Connect_98378F'. At the end of the process, it will be replaced by your home network name.
Please record this identifier as you will have to use it in the pairing process.
2) Pair Your Wheel to Your Phone or Tablet (Using iOS)
(Image description: Icons representing a smartphone, tablet, and Apple logo, followed by a screenshot of iOS Wi-Fi settings.)
- Go to settings menu.
- Select Wi-Fi.
- Look for your device identifier (TM_Connect_98378F) and select it.
- Enter the password '12345678' and click on connect. If needed, select again this new network on your Smartphone.

3) Thrustmaster Connect Portal
If the pairing between your device and the wheel succeeds, you will arrive on the “Thrustmaster Connect portal”.
(Image description: A diagram showing the Thrustmaster Connect Portal interface and the steps involved.)
- Go to settings menu.
- Go the selection list and choose your favorite Wi-Fi.
- Once selected, if there is a password, type it in the box and click on 'save your network'.
- The wheel will now try to pair to your Wi-Fi network.
4) Final Check
Error message: don't worry
At the end of the process, you may encounter a warning message 'impossible to access to the page'. It is because Wi-Fi will save settings then reboot to connect to your network. Don't worry and follow the process.
(Image description: A screenshot of a browser displaying an error message: "Désolé, impossible d'accéder à cette page. ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT".)
If you succeed to pair the wheel to your network, you will notice the SSID parameter changed from 'wheel identifier' to 'your network name'.
(Image description: Two sets of Wi-Fi parameters are shown side-by-side. The first shows 'TM_Connect_98378F' as the SSID, and the second shows 'Thrustmaster' as the SSID with an updated IP address and signal strength.)
5) Enter Your Wheel IP in the F1 2020 Game
(Image description: A series of screenshots labeled A, B, C, and D, illustrating the in-game settings for UDP Telemetry.)
- In Game, go the game options.
- Go to Settings.
- Go to Telemetry Settings.
- Switch ON the UDP Telemetry & Finally enter your wheel IP.
Telemetry is a set of data such as (brake temperature, fuel load, tyres wear...)
UDP (User Datagram Protocol) is a protocol commonly used to exchange data between PC/Console and a device.
