- Go to the CONTROLLER SETUP menu (click the symbol representing the gamepad and D-Pad).
- Configure your controller as follows:
- Accelerate on R2
- Brake on L2
- Shift Up on R1
- Shift Down on L1
- Rear View on L3 and/or R3
- Left & Right View on D-Pad Left & Right
- Click OK.
- Return to the main menu to access your track.
Note: For optimal precision in "Gran Turismo® PS3™", enabling "high sensitivity" mode is recommended.

Configuring Pedals
Configuring Pedals on PlayStation®3
By default, pedals are in "Separate" mode (independent axes: Accelerator = R2, Brake = L2). For different control (e.g., limiting skidding), switch to "Combined" (2 axes) mode, where pedals function on a single axis (Accelerator/Brake = Up/Down on Right mini-stick).
Setting "Combined Pedals" Mode
Action | LED Color |
---|---|
Simultaneously press and release: the 2 pedals (14) + the “Home” button (6) | GREEN |
Your pedals are now combined. You must repeat this procedure each time you restart or disconnect your wheel.
Returning to "Separate Pedals" Mode (Default)
Action | LED Color |
---|---|
Simultaneously press and release: the 2 pedals (14) + the “Home” button (6) | RED |
Your pedals have now returned to the default mode: “Separate”.
Configuring Pedals on PC
Pedals are in "Separate" (3 axes) mode by default for independent function. This mode improves driving precision. If your game does not support 3 axes, use "Combined" (2 axes) mode.
Mode Selection:
Mode | LED Color |
---|---|
Separate pedals (3 axes) | RED |
Combined pedals (2 axes) | GREEN |
- Selecting axes via "Software": Save setting in the "Control Panel" by selecting your desired mode and clicking OK. This setting is saved after restart/disconnect.
- Selecting axes via "Hardware": Select mode directly in your game's "Controls" options. This setting is not saved and must be repeated after restart/disconnect.
- Action: Simultaneously press and release: the 2 pedals (14) + the “Home” button (6).
Troubleshooting and Warnings
