Disconnect by grabbing the plug by the Sliding Sleeve and pulling away from the Aviation Cable (retracts locks, then slides apart). Position the Microphone so the White Dot is pointed directly at your mouth. The mic should be close enough that the windscreen barely touches your lips when pursed.
