Simarine VIA: Monitoring & Control System with Digital Switching
The Simarine VIA system offers advanced monitoring and control capabilities for campervans, motorhomes, caravans, trailers, 4WD vehicles, and more. It provides a comprehensive solution for managing your vehicle's electrical systems, tanks, and temperatures.
Introducing the VIA System
The VIA system is designed to be the command center for your vehicle's electrical needs. It integrates a control panel with versatile power distribution units, allowing for seamless digital switching and monitoring.
Key components include:
- VIA Control Panel: The user interface for configuring settings and monitoring the status of appliances, sensors, and batteries.
- SPDU-52 & SPDU-66: 12V power distribution units that form the backbone of the system, offering switching channels, shunts for current measurement, and inputs for sensors.
- Expansion Modules: Such as Combo Shunts (SC303, SC503), Quadro Shunt Modules (SCQ25, SCQ25T, SCQ50), and the Inclinometer (SD101) to expand monitoring and control capabilities.
- SK8 Keypad: A compact and intuitive expansion module with programmable buttons for controlling digital switching.
Key Features and Benefits
Expandable System
The VIA system is designed to be expandable, allowing you to add modules to monitor additional batteries, tank levels, temperatures, lighting, refrigerators, and other appliances. The system can be expanded with modules from the Pico system as well.
Low Power Consumption
The control panel features a low power consumption mode, using only 5 mA in sleep mode and 40 mA in normal operation with WiFi off and 70% illumination.
Comprehensive Monitoring
The system allows for detailed monitoring of:
- Service battery and starter battery
- Charger and solar inputs
- Tank levels (fresh water, waste water, fuel)
- Temperatures
- Individual appliance consumption
Digital Switching
Control various 12V appliances such as water pumps, refrigerators, heating systems, and lighting directly through the VIA control panel or the SK8 keypad. Each relay can be configured to manage multiple devices.
Vehicle Leveling
The optional digital inclinometer (SD101) helps you level your vehicle accurately by displaying pitch and roll on the VIA panel or the mobile app.
Mobile App Integration
Download the free Simarine mobile app to configure your panel, upgrade firmware, and view live data on your smartphone.
