Leg Extension
Each leg section can be extended and adjusted using the Twist Locks (H).
- To extend, turn the Twist Lock (H) clockwise (approximately 90 degrees or 1/2 turn) to release it. The leg section will drop down.
- Extend the leg sections from the top (thickest) to the bottom (thinnest) to achieve the desired height. Extending the thicker sections first ensures greater stability.
- Lock the leg sections by turning the Twist Locks (H) counter-clockwise until they are fully tightened.
Warning: Ensure all Twist Locks (H) are completely tightened to prevent damage to your equipment.
Strap Adjustment
Adjust the Wrist Strap (G) by sliding the Buckle (F).
Carabiner Use
The Carabiner (E) can be attached to your belt or a bag hook for convenient carrying.
Tri-Feet System Operation
The VEO 2S features a retractable tri-feet system.
Opening the Feet:
- Open the three Feet (J) in the indicated direction (as shown in Fig. 7).
Retracting the Feet:
- Hold the Feet (J).
- Pull them outwards slightly, then fold them upwards as shown (Fig. 8).
Warning: You must pull the Feet (J) outwards first before folding them upwards. Attempting to fold them upwards without pulling them out first may damage or break the mechanism.
Angle Adjustment System
The VEO 2S is equipped with a dual-angle/multi-angle adjustment system (I) located between the monopod and the tri-feet base.
- First, open the three retractable Feet (J).
- Turn the Locking Ring (I) counter-clockwise to tilt the monopod. This allows for multi-angle shooting, as illustrated (Fig. 9).
- Turn the Locking Ring (I) clockwise to lock the base at a fixed vertical angle, as shown (Fig. 9).
Warning: We recommend that after attaching your equipment, you do not let the monopod stand upright on its own. Always keep it supported by hand.
Smartphone Holder Use
The smartphone holder can be used in various ways:
- 11-12: Connect the Smartphone Holder directly to the monopod.
- The Smartphone Holder can accommodate phones up to 87mm wide.
- 13: To attach a smartphone, extend the clamp (M), place the phone into the holder. Release the clamp (M) and ensure the phone is securely held in place.
Notes Before Use
- Weight Capacity: Always adhere to the maximum load capacity. Exceeding the maximum load may result in equipment damage or personal injury.
- Security Check: Before use, ensure all relevant knobs and locks are securely tightened to prevent accidental damage to your equipment.
- Removing Equipment: When removing your camera or other equipment, always hold onto it with your hand first before detaching it from the monopod.
- Transporting Your Monopod:
- a) After use, remove the camera, retract the leg sections, and fold the monopod neatly with the operating parts facing outwards.
- b) Do not transport the monopod with the camera still attached, as this can lead to accidents.
- Cleaning Your Monopod:
- a) If the monopod becomes dirty, wipe it with a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution.
- b) If used in saltwater environments (e.g., at the beach), rinse thoroughly with clean water first, then wipe dry with a soft cloth.
