Overview
The mouse has the following components:
- 1 Left button
- 2 Scroll wheel: Also serves as a middle button.
- 3 Right button
- 4 DPI: For changing sensor resolution.
- 5 Forward and back button
- 6 Wireless receiver
The underside of the mouse features:
- 7 Battery slot
- 8 Connection mode button: For switching between 2.4GHz, BT1 and BT2 modes.
- 9 ON/OFF switch: For turning the mouse on and off.
- 10 Wireless receiver: The wireless receiver is located under the battery cover.
Installation
Pairing the Mouse with Another Device
Open the battery cover and insert a battery (remove the protective foil from the battery).
A: Connection via 2.4GHz Nano Receiver:
- Remove the receiver from underneath the battery cover.
- Insert the receiver into the device you wish to pair with the mouse; the receiver will be installed automatically.
- Switch the mouse to the ON position; the mouse is ready to use.
B: Connection via Bluetooth:
- On the bottom of the mouse, press the mode switch. The BT1 or BT2 LED indicator will turn on.
- After the BT1 or BT2 indicator is on, press and hold the switch until the indicator starts blinking rapidly, signaling the mouse is ready to pair. If the LED does not blink rapidly, hold the mode switch for 3-5 seconds to re-initiate pairing mode.
- On your device, select "Add Bluetooth device" and search for the pairing name of the mouse: MSB500_3.0 / MSB500_5.0.
- Confirm your selection; the mouse is ready to use.
Note: If the mouse does not function, check the battery, ensure the mouse is turned on, and verify it is within the wireless receiver's range.
Power saving mode
When not in use, the mouse enters a power-saving mode to reduce electrical consumption. You can wake the mouse by pressing any button.
