- 1. Indoor Temperature: Displays the current indoor temperature.

Remote Sensor (Illustration 2)
- 1. LED indicator: Flashes to confirm sensor activity.
- 2. Battery compartment: Holds the batteries for the sensor.
- 3. Hanging hole: For mounting the sensor on a wall.
- 4. Channel switch: Selects the channel for the sensor (1, 2, or 3).
- 5. Rope hanging hole: For attaching a rope for hanging.
Installation
Main Unit
- Remove the protective foil from the display.
- Remove the battery compartment cover (23).
- Insert 3 x AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -). This is optional if using the DC adapter.
- Attach the metal stands (25) to the designated holes on the main unit.
- Connect the power adapter to the main unit (22) and a power outlet.
- Replace the battery compartment cover.
The main unit can be placed on a flat surface using the metal stands or hung on a wall using the hanging hole.
Remote Sensor
- Remove the battery compartment cover and select the desired channel (1, 2, or 3) using the channel switch (4).
- Insert 2 x AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -). The red LED indicator (1) will flash once.
- Replace the battery compartment cover.
The sensor can be mounted on a wall using the hanging hole (3).
Sensor Placement Recommendations:
- Mount the sensor on a north-facing wall or in a shaded area. Placement under an eave or deck rail is preferred.
- The maximum wireless transmission range is up to 50 meters in open air, without obstructions like walls or floors.
- Mount the sensor in a vertical position to allow moisture to drain properly.
- Keep the sensor out of direct sunlight and ensure it is well-ventilated.
Operation
- Upon connecting the main unit to power (or inserting batteries), it will automatically turn ON and begin detecting indoor temperature and humidity.
- To receive signals from the remote sensor, ensure both the main unit and the sensor are set to the same channel. Use the [CHI/] button on the back of the main unit to select the channel.
- Once the channels are synchronized, press and hold the [CHI/] button until a beep is heard and the 3 dashes on the display flash. The connection between the sensor and the main unit may take up to 3 minutes.
Button Functions
- [SET]: Press and hold to enter setting mode. Press to cycle through settings (language, beep, 12/24h format, time, date, °C/°F format). Press again to confirm a setting.
- [CHI/]: Use to select channels 1, 2, or 3. In setting mode, use to change values.
- []: In setting mode, use to change values.
- [MEM]: Press to view daily maximum and minimum records, Heat Index, and Dew Point.
- [ALARM]: Press and hold to enter alarm time setting mode. Press to set alarms. Press to view the 2 alarm settings.
- [SNOOZE/LIGHT]: Press to activate the backlight for 10 seconds (when powered by batteries). Press to select backlight brightness (high, low, off) when powered by adapter. Press to snooze an alarm; the alarm will sound again after 5 minutes. Press any button to stop the alarm.
- [ALERTS]: Press and hold to enter alert setting mode. Press to activate or deactivate alerts.

Safety Instructions
- Do not dismantle or modify the product in any way.
- The main unit must be protected from rain and moisture.
- The product is not intended as a reference thermometer. Guardo is not liable for damages resulting from inaccurate readings.
- Remove batteries if the product will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage and damage. Do not leave discharged batteries in the compartment.
- Replacing batteries will erase saved information.
- Clean the product only with a soft cloth. Avoid using benzene, thinner, or other chemical solvents.
- Never immerse the product in water.
- Do not expose the product to extreme force, shock, or significant temperature or humidity fluctuations.
- Do not mix new and old batteries, or batteries of different types.
- Dispose of this product responsibly according to local regulations for electronic waste.
