Midea S8+ Robotic Vacuum Cleaner Quick Start Guide
Your essential guide to setting up and operating your Midea S8+ robotic vacuum cleaner.
1. Preparation and Setup
Follow these steps to prepare your Midea S8+ robotic vacuum cleaner for operation.
1.1 Dust Collector Station and Robot Preparation
Tidy the room: Before use, organize furniture, floor fans, and other objects to maximize cleaning space. Do not use the mopping function on floor carpets.
Robot Preparation Steps:

1.2 Install Side Brushes

1.3 Place the Dust Collector Station
Position the dust collector station with adequate clearance: 0.5 meters on the sides and 1.5 meters in front. [Diagram illustrating the recommended placement of the dust collector station with dimensions.]
Ensure extra power cords are stored neatly in their designated slot.
1.4 Connect Robot to Station
Option 1: Fast Connect
When the robot is powered off, long press the [power button] for 3 seconds. The connection will complete automatically after the robot turns on. A "Di-du" sound indicates a successful connection.
Option 2: Connect Manually
When the robot is powered on, long press the [power button] and the [network button] simultaneously for 3 seconds. A "Di-du" sound and three flickers of the station indicator light confirm a successful connection.

1.5 Network Pairing
Press the network pairing key for 3 seconds. Then, on the Midea app, press the "+" button on the main screen and select "S8+" from the available product list. Follow the device addition wizard.
1.6 Start to Clean
Water inlet/outlet: Fill the water tank to the MAX line with water. [Diagram showing the water tank being filled.]
Briefly press the [start/pause button] for 1 second to begin or pause cleaning.
2. Safety Instructions
- This product is designed for indoor domestic use only; it is not intended for outdoor use.
- Do not use the product in humid environments, such as bathrooms.
- This product shall not bear any object or person exceeding 10 kg.
- Avoid touching power cords, sockets, or power adapters with wet hands.
- Do not submerge the robotic cleaner in water. Keep it away from heating apparatus and direct sunlight to prevent fire hazards.
- Do not fill the vibration tank with washing powder, laundry detergent, cleaning agents, disinfectants, hand sanitizers, unknown oily liquids, or alkaline substances, as this may cause unknown damages. Only use municipal water for the disinfection module.
- For optimal use, allow the machine to complete its mapping work from its charging point when used for the first time.
