Quick Start Guide
Introduction
This document guides you through connecting the Yamaha WS-B1A wireless speaker to a Bluetooth® device, such as a smartphone, and playing music files. For more details, please refer to the Owner's Manual available at: https://download.yamaha.com/files/tcm:39-1554099/

1. Charging the Unit
Charge the unit before use. Use a commercially available USB power adapter (DC 5 V, 2 A or more). A charging cradle (Yamaha CC-T1A; sold separately) can also be used.
- Connect the Type-C connector of the USB cable to the USB port on this unit.
- Connect the Type-A connector of the USB cable to the USB power adapter.
- Plug the USB power adapter into an AC wall outlet.
The power lamp (D
) glows orange during charging and turns off when charging is complete.
2. Turning On the Unit
Press and hold the power button. The power lamp (D
) flashes to indicate the remaining battery level:
- Flashing white: Remaining battery level is more than half.
- Flashing orange: Remaining battery level is less than half.
The unit turns on after showing the status. To turn off the unit, press and hold the power button again.
3. Connecting to a Bluetooth® Device
A Bluetooth device can be connected when the power lamp (D
) is flashing blue.
- On the Bluetooth device, enable the Bluetooth function.
- On the Bluetooth device, select this unit (Yamaha WS-B1A) from the list of available devices.
When the connection is established, the power lamp glows blue. Start playback on the Bluetooth device.
