Quick Start for Robomower
Step 1: Clear the lawn area
Remove any obstacles such as toys, stones, branches, or garden tools from the lawn.
Step 2: Positioning the docking station
Place the docking station on a level surface, preferably near a power outlet. Ensure sufficient clearance around the station:
- At least 1 meter (3.3 ft) to the left (A).
- At least 2 meters (6.6 ft) in front (B).
- Ensure the area behind the station is clear (C).
- The wire start point (D) should be positioned according to the diagram.
- The wire end point (E) should be positioned according to the diagram.
- Allow an additional 1 meter for wire adjustment (F).
- The boundary wire should be installed with a depth of 10-15 mm (G, H).
Diagram shows the docking station with required clearances marked as 'A' (1m left), 'B' (2m front), 'C' (clear behind). 'D' indicates the wire start point and 'E' the wire end point. 'F' shows an additional meter for adjustment. 'G' and 'H' indicate the wire should be laid 10-15mm deep.
Step 3: Cutting height adjustment
Adjust the cutting height using the designated mechanism (A). Refer to the diagram for the specific location and adjustment method.
Diagram shows a knob or lever labeled 'A' for adjusting the cutting height. It indicates the range of adjustment.
Step 4: Main switch location
Locate the main switch (A) on the mower. Turn it to the 'ON' position to power the mower.
Diagram points to the main switch labeled 'A' on the mower body. It shows the 'ON' and 'OFF' positions.
Step 5: Programming
Program the mower's working schedule:
- Select the desired working time (A).
- Press 'Start' (B) to begin operation.
- Close the cover (C) after programming.
Diagram shows a control panel with options to 'Select working time' (A). A 'Start' button (B) is indicated. The cover (C) is shown being closed.
Step 6: Pegging your Boundary Wire
Install the boundary wire around the perimeter of your lawn and any obstacles, following these guidelines:
- Start/End Points: The wire starts at the docking station (S1) and ends at the docking station (S2).
- Clearances:
- Maintain at least 10 meters (33 ft) from the start point (S1) to the first peg.
- Maintain at least 0.5 meters (1.6 ft) for a parallel run from S1.
- Maintain at least 10 meters (33 ft) from the end point (S2) to the last peg.
- Obstacles require at least 2 meters (6.6 ft) clearance.
- Lawn edges/paths require at least 10 cm (4 inches) clearance.
- Wire Spacing Rules:
- The mower will cross wires spaced at 80 cm, 40 cm, or less than 5 mm apart. The notation '< 40%' is also present in this context.
- The mower will not cross wires spaced at more than 40 cm, more than 2 meters, or more than 10 cm apart.
- General Placement: Ensure parallel wires are less than 8 meters apart and at least 2 meters from obstacles, with at least 10 cm clearance from edges.
Diagram illustrates boundary wire installation. It shows the wire starting at point S1 and ending at point S2, both located at the docking station. Required clearances are indicated: at least 10 meters from S1 to the first peg, at least 0.5 meters for a parallel run from S1, and at least 10 meters from S2 to the last peg. Obstacles require at least 2 meters clearance, and lawn edges/paths require at least 10 cm clearance. Specific rules for wire spacing dictate mower behavior: The mower will cross wires spaced at 80 cm, 40 cm, or less than 5 mm apart. The notation '< 40%' is also present in this context. The mower will not cross wires spaced at more than 40 cm, more than 2 meters, or more than 10 cm apart. General guidelines state parallel wires should be less than 8 meters apart and at least 2 meters from obstacles, with at least 10 cm clearance from edges.
