Yard Force SA650ECO/SA900ECO Quick Start for Robomower
Step 1: Prepare the Lawn
Clear the lawn area of any debris.
Visual Description: An illustration shows a person clearing a lawn.
Step 2: Positioning the Docking Station
Follow the diagrams for correct placement of the docking station. Ensure adequate space around it as indicated by measurements (e.g., 1 meter from start point, 2 meters from end point).
Visual Description: Series of diagrams showing the placement of the docking station relative to the lawn edges and wire start/end points. Measurements are provided for optimal positioning.
Step 3: Cutting Height Adjustment
Adjust the cutting height using the provided mechanism.
Visual Description: Close-up images of the cutting height adjustment dial and mechanism.
Step 4: Main Switch Location
Locate and operate the main ON/OFF switch.
Visual Description: Image showing the location of the ON/OFF switch on the robomower.
Step 5: Programming
Program the robomower's schedule and settings.
- Unlock: Press the unlock button (X4).
- Select Working Time: Choose the desired working time (e.g., 6H, 8H, 10H).
- Start: Press the start button (X1).
- Close Cover: Ensure the cover is closed after programming.
Visual Description: A series of screenshots from the robomower's interface showing programming options like unlocking, selecting working times, starting the mower, and closing the cover.
Pegging Your Boundary Wire
Install the boundary wire around the perimeter of your lawn and any obstacles. Follow these guidelines:
- Spacing: Maintain specific distances for start (S1) and end (S2) points of the boundary wire (e.g., S1 > 0.5m, S2 > 10m). Ensure a minimum distance of 10m between S1 and S2.
- Slopes: Do not install the wire on slopes exceeding 40%.
- Obstacles: Ensure the mower can cross areas with less than 5mm clearance. For areas the mower should not cross, maintain a clearance of more than 10cm.
- Wire Placement: Keep the boundary wire at least 40cm from obstacles like trees and 80cm from the edge of the lawn.
- Wire Crossing: Never cross the boundary wires. Ensure a minimum distance of 2m between parallel wires.
- House Proximity: Maintain a distance of at least 8m from the house.
- Edge Trimming: Ensure the mower can trim edges by placing the wire at least 2m from the edge.
Visual Description: A comprehensive diagram illustrating the layout of the boundary wire in a garden, including placement around obstacles, house, and lawn edges. It also shows specific measurements for wire spacing, distances from obstacles, and slope limitations. Additional close-up diagrams illustrate how the mower interacts with different clearances and the importance of not crossing wires.
