Warnings

- Applying voltage to the tester will damage the tester.
Battery Replacement
- Carefully unscrew the battery cap at the rear of the tester.
- Replace batteries with one AAA 1.5V battery. Observe polarity.
- Screw the cover onto the tester until it feels tight. Do not use excessive force.
- Verify operation by using the tester within the defined detection range.

Care and Maintenance
- Keep the meter dry. If it gets wet, wipe it off.
- Keep the meter clean. Wipe dirt with a soft cloth dampened with water. Do not use chemicals, cleaning solvents, or detergents.
- Use and store the meter in normal temperatures. Temperature extremes can shorten the life of electronic parts and distort or melt plastic parts.
- Handle the meter gently and carefully. Dropping it can damage electronic parts or the case.
- Use only fresh batteries of the recommended size and type. Batteries must be inserted with the correct polarity. Remove old or weak batteries to prevent leaks and unit damage.
- Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix different types of batteries (e.g., alkaline, carbon-zinc, rechargeable). Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
- If the meter is to be stored for a long period, remove batteries to prevent unit damage.
