2. Setup and Operation Guide
2.1 Working Area Setting
2.1.1 Using Multiple Monitors
Select the 'Work Area' tab in the driver software to define the relationship between pen movement on the tablet and cursor movement on the monitor screen. By default, the entire active area of the tablet maps to the entire monitor. If multiple monitors are in use and the system is in extended mode, you need to select the specific monitor on the driver interface to map the tablet to. If monitors are in mirror mode (displaying the same content), the tablet maps to the entire space on each monitor, and the cursor displays simultaneously on all screens.
2.1.2 Working Area Setting
This setting defines the tablet area that will be mapped to the screen area. Options include:
- Full Area: Uses the entire active area of the tablet. This is the default setting.
- Customized Area: Allows entering specific coordinate values or dragging the corners of a foreground graphic to select a precise screen area.
2.1.3 Rotate Working Area
This feature allows changing the orientation of the tablet to adapt to left-handed or right-handed operation. Four rotation options are provided: 0°, 90°, 180°, and 270°.
2.2 Press Keys Function Setting
In the driver software, you can configure the functions of the press keys. The default settings can be viewed by placing the cursor on a button or clicking its icon. For customized functions, select the desired action from a pop-up dialog box and then click 'APPLY' or 'OK' to save the changes. You can enable or disable the press keys and soft keys by checking or unchecking the respective options.
2.3 Pen Button Setting
Configure the functions for the stylus pen buttons. Select the desired function from a pop-up dialog box and click 'APPLY' or 'OK' to apply the changes.
2.4 Pressure Sensitivity Setting
Adjust the pressure sensitivity by dragging the slider. A smaller value increases pressure sensitivity, meaning lighter touches will register more input. The 'Current Pressure' display shows the real-time pressure applied.
2.5 Pen Pressure Testing
You can test the pen's pressure sensitivity by applying gradual pressure to the stylus and observing the 'Current Pressure' level displayed on the screen in the driver software.
2.6 Enable the Windows Ink feature
Microsoft Windows provides extensive support for pen input. The Windows Ink feature enhances pen functionality in applications such as Microsoft Office, Windows Journal, Adobe Photoshop CC 2014, SketchBook6, and others.
2.7 Data Export and Import
The driver software supports exporting and importing custom configuration data for the product. This feature is convenient for users who switch between different software or wish to avoid repetitive settings, allowing them to save and load their preferred configurations.
