Installation and User Guide
Safety Precautions
- Please read this guide carefully before use and keep it for future reference.
- The projector is not dustproof or waterproof.
- To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock, do not expose the projector to rain or moisture.
- Use the original power adapter. The projector should operate under the specified rated power supply.
- When the projector is on, do not look directly into the lens. The strong light may cause temporary discomfort. Children should use the projector only under adult supervision.
- Do not cover the projector's ventilation openings. Overheating can shorten the projector's lifespan and pose a hazard.
- Regularly clean the projector's ventilation openings; dust can cause cooling malfunctions.
- Do not use the projector in oily, humid, dusty, or smoky environments. Oil or chemicals can cause malfunctions.
- Handle the projector with care during daily use.
- Disconnect the power if the projector is not in use for an extended period.
- Unauthorized personnel are prohibited from disassembling the projector for inspection and maintenance.
- Keep the projector away from flammable, explosive, and strong electromagnetic interference sources (e.g., large radar stations, power stations, substations). Avoid strong ambient light (e.g., direct sunlight).
- Do not cover the projector's ventilation openings.
- Ensure adequate ventilation; keep ventilation openings clear to prevent overheating.
- Do not bend or drag the power cord.
- Do not place the power cord under the projector or heavy objects.
- Do not cover soft materials with the power cord.
- Do not heat the power cord.
- Avoid touching the power adapter with wet hands.
Product Structure and Ports
The MAGCUBIC HY300 features a compact design with several key components and ports:
- Lens: The primary projection lens.
- Focus Wheel (?️): Located near the lens, used to adjust the image focus.
- Air Intake Vents: Located on the sides/top for cooling the projector.
- Tilt Adjustment: Allows for adjusting the projector's angle.
- Ports:
- Power Input: For connecting the power adapter.
- HDMI (?): High-Definition Multimedia Interface for connecting audio and video sources.
- USB (?): Universal Serial Bus port for data transfer or power.

Remote Control Functions
The remote control provides access to all projector functions:
- Power/Standby (?): Turns the projector on or puts it into standby mode.

- Mouse Control: Activates a mouse cursor for navigation.

Settings and Configuration
General Settings
- Networking (?): Connect to Wi-Fi networks for internet access.
- Bluetooth (?): Pair with Bluetooth-enabled devices like speakers or headphones.
- Language Setting (Aa): Select the preferred display language for the user interface.
- Audio Setting (?): Adjust volume levels and other audio preferences.
- Date and Time Setting: Configure the device's date, time, and time zone for accurate display and scheduling.
Projection Settings
- Projection Mode: Select display orientation (e.g., front, rear, ceiling mount).
- Keystone Correction (?): Adjust the image shape to correct distortion when the projector is not perfectly perpendicular to the screen.
- Brightness Adjustment (?): Control the screen brightness to suit ambient lighting conditions.
Other Settings
- Application Setting: Manage installed applications.
- Developer Opinions: Access developer-related settings or information.
- Factory Reset Setting: Restore the projector to its original factory default settings.
Connecting and Mirroring
Wired Connections
- HDMI (?): Connect to computers, gaming consoles, or Blu-ray players for high-quality audio and video output.
- AV: Connect to older devices using composite video and stereo audio cables.
Wireless Mirroring
The projector supports screen mirroring from various devices.
Miracast (Android Devices)
- Ensure your Android device (phone, tablet) and the projector are connected to the same local Wi-Fi network.
- On the projector, navigate to: Home Screen → My Apps → Miracast → Open Miracast service.
- On your Android device, enable screen mirroring. This feature might be called "Screen Mirroring", "Smart View", "Cast", or similar, usually found in the quick settings or display settings.
- Turn on phone mirroring on your Android device.
- The projector should appear in the list of available devices. Select your projector (e.g., "L010-1112" or similar identifier) to establish the connection.
- The screen will then be mirrored to the projector.
Airplay (iOS Devices)
- Ensure your Apple device (iPhone, iPad) and the projector are connected to the same local Wi-Fi network.
- On the projector, navigate to: Home Screen → My Apps → Air pin → Open Air pin service.
- On your iOS device, open the Control Center and tap the "Screen Mirroring" icon (?➡️?️).
- Select your projector from the list of available devices to initiate the connection.
- The screen will then be mirrored to the projector.
