Product Components (DR1500DQ)

The kit includes the following components:

• A. HOLLOW RUBBER SPRING (2): Two identical black, hollow rubber springs, cylindrical with a wider base and a narrower top.
• B. AEON LCOATOR 3.15 ODx V THK (2): Two identical black, cylindrical components with a textured surface.
• C. HCS M10x50x 1.5 F/T GR &8 Z (2): Two silver metal bolts.
• D. NYLOCK LOCKNUT MIO * 1.5GR 8.0 Z (2): Two silver metal locknuts.

Clearance Instructions

Rear SES Kits for Pick-Ups and Vans should have a 1/2" to 1-1/2" gap between the rubber spring and contact point when empty.

A partial load, or vehicle accessories will reduce or eliminate the gap.

Front SES kits are usually in full contact.

Medium and Heavy-Duty Trucks, Trailers and Motorhomes will be in constant contact, and have no gap.

Installation Steps

1. Step 1: Raise vehicle allowing the axle to hang freely.

2. Step 2: Remove existing bump stop by prying out of bump stop cup.

3. Step 3: Position spring assembly into bump stop cup.

4. Step 4: Use soapy water and position spring assembly into bump stop cup. Push and twist simultaneously.

5. Step 5: Ensure assembly is properly seated in bump stop cup.

6. Step 6: To ensure that the assembly is properly seated in the cup, it will help to place a temporary spacer such as a short piece of 2x4 wood between the axle and the assembly.

7. Step 7: Lower vehicle.
