This document provides comprehensive instructions for operating and maintaining your Ecovacs DEEBOT DDX67 robot vacuum cleaner.
Getting Started and Setup
Installing the Cleaning Liquid Box
Open the top cover of the cleaning liquid box, add Ecovacs special cleaning liquid, close the cover, and install it into the base station. Ensure it clicks into place.
Installing the Dust Bin Cover
Ensure the dust bin cover is installed correctly for complete sealing.
Downloading the Ecovacs Home App
To access all features, download the ECOVACS HOME App. Scan the QR code located under the top cover or search for "ECOVACS HOME" in the App Store or Google Play.
? Note: To extend service life, use only official Ecovacs cleaning agents. Do not allow foreign objects into the cleaning liquid box.
Turning on Robot Power
Locate the power switch under the host's cover ("⚡ I" for power on, "⚡ O" for power off). Place the robot in front of the base station, ensuring the base station is connected to power.
? Note: Intelligent functions like remote startup, voice interaction, and map display require the ECOVACS HOME App. You must agree to the Privacy Policy and User Agreement for these features. Basic functions are available manually.
Robot Charging
Use the ECOVACS HOME App or voice commands to recall the robot to the universal base station for charging.
? Note: The robot cannot be charged when powered off. It is recommended to keep the robot charged after work for better performance. Start cleaning from the universal base station for smooth return charging.
Robot Network Configuration
Wi-Fi Network Requirements:
- 2.4GHz or 2.4/5 GHz mixed network.
- Router supports 802.11b/g/n and IPv4 protocols.

Operating the DEEBOT
1. Create a Map
The DEEBOT creates a map during its first cleaning session. To assist, ensure the environment is clear:
- Raise low-sitting furniture.
- Cover the bottom of furniture.
- Set up Virtual Boundary via the App.
When mopping, DEEBOT recognizes floor types and lifts mops on carpets. Avoid shaggy rugs longer than 10mm, or fold them/set them as No-Entry Zones.
For the first cleaning, ensure the robot is on the base station and fully charged. Start cleaning by pressing the button on the main unit, using the ECOVACS HOME App, or voice control.
2. Start Vacuum
See "1. Create a Map" for initial setup and starting instructions.
3. Pause
Short press the button on the main unit to pause. Alternatively, use the ECOVACS HOME App or voice control.
4. Wake Up
After pausing, indicators turn off. Press the button to restart.
5. Return to Universal Base Station
Use the ECOVACS HOME App, voice command, or button to recall the robot to the base station for charging.
6. Deep Sleep Mode
If the DEEBOT remains off the station for approximately 5 hours, it enters deep sleep mode to protect the battery. Switch OFF and ON to wake it up.
? Note: To extend mop life, do not remove it frequently. Avoid scratching the mop holder. Replace the mop when prompted by the app. Purchase accessories via the App Mall or at https://www.ecovacs.com.

Compliance and Regulations
FCC Declaration of Interference
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with Class B digital device limits per FCC Part 15. These limits provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in residential installations. It generates, uses, and can emit radio frequency energy. If not installed or used correctly, it may cause harmful interference to radio communications. If interference occurs, try repositioning the antenna, increasing separation between equipment and receiver, plugging into a different circuit, or consulting a dealer/qualified technician.
This device complies with FCC Part 15. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) it must not cause harmful interference, and (2) it must accept any interference received, including that which may cause undesired operation.
⚠️ Warning: Unauthorized modifications may void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
Industry Canada Compliance
This device contains license-exempt transmitters/receivers conforming to Industry Canada's RSS standards. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) the device must not cause interference, and (2) it must accept any radio interference, even if it compromises its operation.
Radiofrequency Exposure Warning
This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits for an uncontrolled environment. It must be installed and used with at least 20 cm separation between the antenna and any person. Do not co-locate or operate with any other antenna or transmitter.
For mobile devices (Sections 15.247 and 15.407), maintain at least 20 cm distance from persons during use for FCC compliance.
Disabling/Enabling Wi-Fi
To disable Wi-Fi: Power on the robot, place it on the OMNI station, ensure charging contacts are connected, and double-click the button.
To enable Wi-Fi: Restart the robot. Optionally, unplug and replug the satellite.

Sensor Descriptions
Name | Functional Description |
---|---|
LiDAR d-ToF Module | Uses laser telemetry to measure distance to surrounding objects (up to 10m) by calculating the time difference of the returning light. Helps locate objects and map the environment. |
3D TrueDetect Sensor | Emits infrared rays to detect obstacles. Uses reflected light and similar triangles to calculate distance (up to 0.4m). Automatically turns to avoid obstacles. |
Anti-fall Sensor | Uses infrared telemetry to detect height differences (e.g., steps). When a predefined threshold is exceeded, the robot stops to prevent falls. |
Carpet Detection Sensor | Emits 300 kHz ultrasonic waves. Detects carpets by absorbing sound energy; identifies over 50 types of carpets. |
Anti-collision Sensor | Uses an optical coupling switch principle to detect and avoid collisions with objects. |
Edge Sensor | Uses infrared telemetry to detect the distance between the robot's side and obstacles, enabling edge movement to avoid missed areas. |
AIVI Camera | Uses AI cameras to capture environmental images for recording and remote video calls (interacts with MIC). FOV: 77° Vertical, 97° Horizontal. |
Microphone | Detects human voice vibrations to record sound and enable voice control for specified tasks. Wake-up distance is 5m. |
Product Usage Precautions
- Clear the cleaning area by rearranging furniture (e.g., chairs) and removing floor clutter like cables, cloths, and slippers to improve cleaning efficiency.
- Place a physical barrier at the edge of any drop-offs (like stairs) to prevent the unit from falling.
- For the first use, ensure doors to rooms are open to allow the DEEBOT to explore the entire home.
- Ensure cleaning areas are well-lit for the AIVI camera to function correctly. Remove power cords and small objects from the floor.
- Before using on carpets with fringed edges, fold the edges underneath.
- Avoid standing in narrow spaces like corridors and do not block the AIVI camera.
- Clean the AIVI camera and TrueMapping distance sensor with a clean cloth. Avoid using detergents or spray cleaners.
