Assembling the DECT Phone

1. Connect the base station power and the network

a. AC Power Option

Connect the power adapter to the base station and a power outlet.

b. PoE (Power over Ethernet) Option

Connect the base station to an IEEE 802.3af compliant PoE Hub/Switch using an Ethernet cable. This method powers the base station via the network connection.

Note:

  • If using method a, use the Yealink supplied power adapter (5V/0.6A). A third-party power adapter may damage the base station.
  • If using method b, ensure the hub/switch is PoE-compliant and you do not need to connect the power adapter.

2a. (Desktop Installation) Attach and remove the base stand

To attach the base stand: Align the snap-fits with the corresponding holes on the base station and push forward until they click into place.

To remove the base stand: Remove the snap-fits from the holes horizontally.

2b. (Wall-Mount Installation) Attach the base station

Mount the base station to a wall. Ensure a mounting height of approximately 59mm from the bottom edge for optimal placement.

3. Insert the battery into the handset

Open the battery cover on the handset, insert the rechargeable battery correctly, and then close the cover.

4. Attach the belt clip to the handset

Secure the belt clip to the back of the handset for convenient carrying.

5. (Optional) Mount the charging cradle to the wall

Mount the charging cradle to the wall at a height of approximately 36mm from the bottom edge for easy access.

6. Connect the charging cradle and charge the handset

Place the handset into the charging cradle. Connect the cradle to a power source using the provided power adapter.

Note:

  • Use the Yealink-supplied power adapter (5V/0.6A). A third-party power adapter may damage the handset.
