Operating Instructions
IMPORTANT: The air purifier is shipped with the filter stored in the filter compartment, in a bag to prevent degradation. Remove and discard the bag before use.
Before Operating:
- Select a firm, level, and flat location for the air purifier.
- For proper air flow, locate the unit at least 1 foot from any wall or furniture.
- Ensure none of the grills are blocked.
- Plug the power cord into a 120V AC outlet.
Operating the Air Purifier:
- Power Button Operation:
- ONCE: Turn unit on and enter Auto Mode. Auto Mode indicator illuminates.
- TWICE: Enter Speed One. Low fan speed indicator illuminates.
- THREE times: Enter Speed Two. Medium fan speed indicator illuminates.

What is Auto Mode?
In Auto Mode, the fan speed adjusts based on the room's air quality. If the Air Quality Monitor (AQM) detects higher particle levels, the fan speed increases. Once air quality improves, the speed decreases. You can leave the purifier in Auto Mode 24/7 for best results.
To exit Auto Mode, press the power button again to cycle through the remaining speed levels.
Saving Energy in Auto Mode:
If air quality is excellent, the motor cycles off for 30 minutes, then on for 5 minutes. If air quality remains excellent, this cycle repeats until it worsens. To exit Auto Mode, press the Fan Speed button to cycle through speed levels.
What is Sleep Mode?
In Sleep Mode, the air purifier runs at Speed One with no lights, while still filtering the air. To exit Sleep Mode, press the power button again to shut off the unit.
Air Quality Monitor
The Air Quality Monitor senses and detects particulate matter (PM2.5). The light on the front of the unit changes color to indicate the air quality level. See chart for values and status ranges.
Light Color | Particulate Matter Value (Range) | Air Quality Status | Auto Fan Speed |
---|---|---|---|
Green | 0-50 | Good | 1 |
Yellow | 51-150 | Average | 2 |
Red | 151-500 | Poor | 3 |
