Quick Installation Guide - Tuya Smart x Dinosaur Temperature Monitor WiFi ver.2.0

Direction

1. Please prepare the product – Dinosaur Temperature Monitor (including adapter and USB cable), smart phone or tablet.
2. After downloading the app, set up the Dinosaur Temperature Monitor with the App.

Prepare Before Starting

1. First-time connection network requirements: Please confirm that the smart phone or tablet must be under the same Wi-Fi Router connection.
2. Smartphone/Tablet application required: "Tuya Smart"

Installation

First-time APP Installation

1. Install the "Tuya Smart" App: Search for "Tuya Smart" in the Apple Store / Google Play. Or scan the QR Code on this QIG to download and install. [QR Code] for Tuya Smart Android and iOS apps.
2. Open and execute the Smart phone/tablet App: Tuya Smart, and user registration:

   3. E-mail registration, you'll get the verification code: Please select the country, fill in the e-mail account (See image description for Pic 3), click "Get Verification Code", the system will automatically send a registration verification code to the e-mail box (See image description for Pic 4). After confirming and obtaining the verification code, return to your smart phone or tablet and fill in the verification code to complete.    4. Set password: Please create a set of passwords, which will be used after login.
   5. Start your Smart Life: Click on "Create a Family" ➕ to enter the settings; create your "Family Name" (required) and complete (See image descriptions for Pic 5 and Pic 6). First-time Dinosaur Temperature Monitor Installation and Pairing

Device Screen Initial State

After connecting to power, the device screen will display "WieCare" for about 1 minute before switching to temperature readings (e.g., 36.5 °C).

2. Select the device type: Then under Device Type, select "Others" (See image description for Pic 12), and choose the "Wi-Fi Connector" (See image description for Pic 13). 3. Enter the added device: Please click the "Confirm indicator rapidly blink" button (See image description for Pic 14) at the bottom of the screen to proceed. [Pic 14: Screenshot of the Tuya Smart app screen prompting to confirm the device indicator is blinking rapidly.]
4. Wi-Fi setting: Please turn on and select your Wi-Fi network. After entering the Wi-Fi password, click "Confirm" (See image description for Pic 15) to proceed. [Pic 15: Screenshot of the Tuya Smart app Wi-Fi configuration screen, prompting for Wi-Fi password entry.]
5. Go to the connecting process: Ensure your router, smart phone, and device are as close as possible (See image description for Pic 16). 6. Manual pairing: Press and hold the device button for 8 seconds (See image description for Pic 8). The LED indicator will flash for 10 times, and the device LCD screen will show "Wi-Fi Pairing", indicating successful pairing initiation. Proceed to the next step.
7. Automatic pairing: After manual pairing, automatic pairing begins. The App will search for the device and start pairing. Once paired, the device LCD screen will show "Wi-Fi Smart Mode" and the LED will flash 5 times. If "AP mode" is displayed on the LCD screen, repeat step 6.
8. Please wait for the device to complete 100% processing (See image description for Pic 16). The LCD screen will then display "Device added Successfully". Post-Pairing Steps

10. Verify device status: Make sure the "Dinosaur Temperature Monitor" is "online". Click on it to view its working status (See image description for Pic 18). The indoor temperature will be displayed on the top right. The user's current temperature will be shown in the middle with a larger font. Click the right corner (See image description for Pic 19) for device details (See image description for Pic 20). Remarks

1. Detailed instructions can be searched or downloaded from the official website: Chinese website: http://www.smartbridge-info.com English website: http://www.smartbridge-tech.com
2. Please do not connect the device to the Dinosaur Temperature Monitor with a computer or USB hub. This may cause the device's USB product flash and the device LED to flash unusually. Please connect the device with an adapter directly.
3. When the device is working, please ensure the Dinosaur Temperature Monitor is placed between 30~40cm from the baby's forehead.
4. Under normal situations, the "Tuya Smart" App may only show temperatures ≥35℃ (≥95℉). If the temperature is below 35℃ (<95℉), the App might not display it. However, the LCD screen of the Dinosaur Temperature Monitor will not have this limitation and will show the actual temperature recorded.
