1. Installing the Stands or a Wall Mount
Stands
Place your TV face-down on a cushioned, clean surface.
- Align the TV stand screw holes with the holes on the bottom of your TV.
- Use a Phillips screwdriver and the four screws for your TV size (included) to secure the stands to your TV.
Screw sizes:
- 50" / 55" TVs: M4 x 16 mm screws (4 pcs.)
- 70" TV: M5 x 20 mm screws (4 pcs.)
The base can be shared by the left and right end-side.
Wall Mount
Before you mount your TV, ensure that:
- Stands are not attached to the TV.
- The wall-mount bracket supports the weight of your TV.
Refer to the instructions that came with your wall mount for more information about how to correctly mount your TV.
WARNING: Your TV has four VESA mounting holes on the back. You must secure a wall-mount bracket to all four holes. If you do not use all four holes, your TV may fall and cause property damage or personal injury.
Note: Wall-mount screws are not included.
VESA Mounting Patterns:
- 50" / 55" TVs: 200 x 200 mm. Screws: Type M6, 10 mm to 12 mm length, depending on the wall mount.
- 70" TV: 300 x 300 mm. Screws: Type M8, 14 mm to 16 mm length, depending on the wall mount.
2. Making Connections
Before using your new TV, read these instructions to prevent any damage. Do not plug your power cord in until all other devices have been connected.
HDMI (Best Video Quality)
Connect to other HDMI devices. To use eARC/ARC functionality, the connected device must also have HDMI eARC/ARC.
Connections available: HDMI OUT, AUDIO OUT, DIGITAL OPTICAL OUTPUT.
AV (Good Video Quality)
Connect audio/video devices.
Coaxial (Good Video Quality)
Connect an antenna to access live over-the-air TV.
Analog Audio Input
Connect audio devices like a soundbar.
Digital Audio Options
You can use the DIGITAL OPTICAL OUTPUT jack or the HDMI1 (eARC/ARC) jack for audio output.
To change the digital audio format: Navigate to the Home menu, select Settings, then Display & Sounds. Select Audio Output, then Digital Audio Format and change the setting to PCM / Dolby Audio / Passthrough / Auto.
Ethernet (Optional)
You can use a wired Ethernet connection to access the internet instead of a Wi-Fi connection. Plug an Ethernet cable into the ETHERNET jack on your TV and your Ethernet connection.
3. Turning On Your TV
- Plug the power cord into the back of your TV and a power outlet.
- Remove the remote control cover and install the batteries (two AAA batteries included).
- Press the power button on your Voice Remote with Alexa.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
4. Complete the On-Screen Setup
Your TV should automatically pair to your new Voice Remote with Alexa.
- If your remote is not paired, long press the Voice button for 5 seconds or until paired. If issues persist, re-insert or replace the batteries.
- Select your Wi-Fi network from the displayed list. If your network is password-protected, enter your password using the on-screen keyboard. If your network is hidden, select "Join Other Network".
- Select your experience: Full (recommended) or Basic.
- Full: Access live TV, tens of thousands of streaming movies and TV episodes, thousands of apps, and Alexa skills. Sign into or sign up for a free Amazon account to get started.
- Basic: Access live TV and five preset streaming apps. Alexa and the full Appstore are not included.
- If you connected your TV to an antenna or cable wall jack:
- Go to Settings > Live TV > Channel Scan.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to scan for channels.
To browse and watch live TV, use the "On Now" row or press the Guide button on your remote.
Using Your Voice Remote with Alexa
- Power: Turns your TV on or off. When your TV is off, the LED indicator on the front lights red.
- Navigation: Navigate on-screen (up, down, left, and right).
- Home: Takes you to the Home Screen. A long press activates the Quick Settings Overlay.
- Back: Returns you to the previous screen.
- Rewind: Rewind (long press) and skip back (short press). Behavior varies by app.
- Volume Keys: Volume + increases the volume, and Volume - decreases the volume.
- Guide: Opens the live TV Channel Guide.
- Mute: Mutes the sound.
- Prime Video: Launches Prime Video from any screen or when your TV is off.
- App 1: Launches App 1 from any screen or when your TV is off.
- Microphone: Speak Alexa commands into the microphone.
- LED Indicator: Displays different colors according to different operations.
- Voice Button: Holding down the Voice button activates the Alexa-enabled microphone on the remote, initiating voice input. Releasing the button ends voice input. With Alexa, you can use your voice to search for content, control playback, and more. (Note: Alexa Voice Service requires an Amazon account.)
- Select: Confirms a selection or action.
- Menu: Activates contextual commands on the screen.
- Play / Pause: Resumes or pauses playback.
- Forward: Fast forward (long press) and skip ahead (short press). Behavior varies by app.
- Channel: Channel Up ([up-arrow]) goes to the next live TV channel, and Channel Down ([down-arrow]) goes to the previous live TV channel.
- Settings: Activates the Quick Settings Overlay.
- Recents: Opens a row of recently watched content for easy switching.
- Netflix: Launches Netflix from any screen or when your TV is off.
- App 2: Launches App 2 from any screen or when your TV is off.
