Safety Instructions

Building the printer requires physical dexterity, common sense, and a thorough understanding of the process. Detailed instructions are available for download at geeetech.com. Geeetech cannot be responsible for your health and safety during building or operation. Ensure you are confident with the process before commencing. Building and operating involves electricity; take all necessary precautions. The printer runs on 12V supplied by a certified power supply. Be aware that high currents can be involved even at 12V.

High temperatures are involved in 3D Printing: the extrusion nozzle can reach approximately 230°C, the heated bed runs at 110°C, and the molten plastic is extruded at around 200°C. Special care and attention are required when handling these parts during operation.

It is not recommended to leave the printer running unattended until you are confident in its operation. Geeetech cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, threat, hurt, or other negligent result from building or using the printer.

Introduction

The Geeetech Prusa I3 Pro W 3D printer is engineered and manufactured by Shenzhen Getech Technology Co., Ltd. Compared to other Geeetech I3 pro printers, the I3 Pro W features a simplified and portable frame made of high-quality wood. Its DIY design offers a great sense of accomplishment as you assemble it from parts. The I3 Pro W retains the excellent features of the I3 series 3D printers, including high printing accuracy and speed, an open filament system, smooth and exquisite surface finish, a strong structure for 3D objects, and a safe and satisfactory printing experience. Paired with EasyPrint 3D printing software, the Geeetech I3 Pro W simplifies the entire printing job for both beginners and experienced users.

With an optional Wi-Fi module, you can remotely control your Pro W via the EasyPrint 3D APP and access a cloud gallery of free 3D models, enabling printing anywhere, anytime. Unleash your bold ideation with the Geeetech Prusa I3 Pro W!

General Care and Maintenance

As with all electronic equipment, keep your printer clean to extend its life. Regularly remove dust and debris with a microfiber cloth or compressed air. Clean the tube and nozzle after each use for fluent performance.

  • ⚠️ Do not leave the heaters on the printer turned on for long periods when not in use.
  • ? Do not leave your printer in shady and moist places, as this may exacerbate erosion problems.
  • ⚙️ The three axes of the GEEETECH I3 Pro W are lubricated with grease for smooth operation and longevity. Grease may need to be re-applied to maintain smooth performance.
  • ? Avoid positioning your power supply unit such that the brick is hanging, pulling, or putting unnecessary stress on electrical wires and components.
