Product Overview

Operating Instructions

Power ON/OFF

The keyboard is powered by 2 (Two) AAA 1.5V Alkaline Batteries (not included). The ON/OFF switch is located on the top side panel of the keyboard.

USB Receiver

The USB receiver can be found and stored in a slot on the bottom of the keyboard, under the battery compartment cover. To access it, flip the keyboard over and open the battery compartment door. You will see a small rectangular object imprinted with the FCC ID number. This is the USB receiver unit. It can be stored in this slot when not in use to prevent loss or damage. The keyboard will not function without the USB Receiver.

To remove the receiver, carefully hook a fingernail into the groove along the metal side surface of the slot and lift it up slowly, being careful not to damage it.

How to Use

1. Place 2 (Two) AAA 1.5V Alkaline Batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the back of the keyboard.
2. Insert the USB receiver into one of your computer's USB ports.
3. Turn the keyboard ON using the switch located on the top side panel.
4. Your computer should recognize the keyboard instantly. Check your computer's settings if it is not detected.
5. Remove the USB receiver from your computer's USB port when the unit is not in use.

Connection Troubleshooting

If your computer loses connection to the keyboard:

1. Unplug the USB receiver first.
2. Press and hold the ESC + Q buttons for about 3 seconds until the indicator light flashes.
3. Reinsert the USB receiver into the computer's USB port. The keyboard should automatically connect to the receiver and become usable.

Installing Batteries

To install batteries:

1. Remove the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the keyboard by squeezing the cover in from the tab to release it.
2. Insert batteries into the battery compartment, observing polarity (+ and -). A diagram shows two battery slots, each labeled with '+' and '-' indicators for correct polarity.
3. Replace the cover.

Sleep Mode

After 10 minutes of inactivity, the keyboard will enter sleep mode. Pressing any button will wake it up and return it to its original state.

Multimedia Hotkeys Functions

The keyboard includes multimedia hotkeys for convenient control:

Note: F1-F8 keys are universal for Windows® and Mac OS®. F9-F12 are not functional on Mac OS®.

LED Light Indicators

The keyboard features LED indicators for status monitoring:

• Num Lock: Indicates the status of the numeric keypad.
• Caps Lock: Indicates the status of the Caps Lock key.
• Battery: Indicates battery status (typically a low battery warning).
