Test Equipment List
A list of test equipment used for calibration and testing is provided, including manufacturer, model, serial number, calibration date, and due date. All calibrations are traceable to National Primary Standards and the International System of Units (SI).
FCC §1.1307(b)(3)(i)(A) & §2.1093 - RF EXPOSURE
The device operates within the frequency range of 2402-2480MHz. The maximum E-field strength was measured at 87.57 dBuV/m at 3 meters. The maximum EIRP was -7.63 dBm, which corresponds to 0.17 mW. This value is below the 1-mW threshold for exemption from RF exposure limits, making the device compliant.
FCC§15.203 - ANTENNA REQUIREMENT
The EUT features a permanently attached PCB antenna, which fulfills the requirements of this section. The use of a standard antenna jack or electrical connector is prohibited.
FCC§15.205, §15.209 & §15.249(d) - RADIATED EMISSIONS
The radiated emissions were tested according to FCC §15.249 (a), (c), and (d). The test setup involved a 3-meter distance between the EUT and the antenna. Plots and data for emissions from 9 kHz to 25 GHz are provided, showing compliance with the specified limits.
Test Setup Description:
- 9 kHz-30MHz: EUT and support units placed on a turntable 0.8m above ground plane, 3m from the test antenna.
- 30MHz-1GHz: EUT and support units placed on a turntable 0.8m above ground plane, 3m from the test antenna.
- Above 1GHz: EUT and support units placed on a turntable 1.5m above ground plane, 3m from the test antenna.
Test Procedure: Maximizing procedure was performed on the highest emissions. The EUT was tested at a 3-meter distance, with antenna height varied from 1-4 meters. The turntable was rotated 360 degrees. Polarization was tested in both horizontal and vertical orientations. Data was recorded in Quasi-peak detection mode for most frequencies, with peak and average detection modes used for frequencies above 1 GHz.
Factor & Over Limit/Margin Calculation: Factor is calculated as Antenna Factor + Cable Loss - Amplifier Gain. Margin is calculated as Limit - Corrected Amplitude. Corrected Amplitude = Read Level + Factor.
Environmental Conditions: Temperature: 20.2~22.8 °C, Relative Humidity: 45~46%, ATM Pressure: 101.4~102.7 kPa.
EUT Operation Mode: Transmitting.
Note: Pre-scan in X, Y, and Z axes of orientation; worst-case Z-axis recorded. Peak values were recorded as they were below the average limit.
FCC§15.215(c) - 20dB EMISSION BANDWIDTH
The 20dB bandwidth was measured using ANSI C63.10-2020 Clause 6.9.2. The transmitter was operated at its maximum carrier power. The 20dB bandwidth for the Low, Middle, and High channels was measured to be 1.056 MHz.
Environmental Conditions: Temperature: 24.2°C, Relative Humidity: 54%, ATM Pressure: 102.4 kPa.
EUT Operation Mode: Transmitting.
Test Plots: Spectral plots for Low, Middle, and High channels are provided, showing the 20dB bandwidth measurement.
