Notes on Fabric Definitions:
- Fabric Thickness:
- Thin (fabric): Two layers of fabric thickness < 0.35mm.
- Thick (fabric): Two layers of fabric thickness > 0.8mm.
- Regular (fabric): Two layers of fabric thickness ≥ 0.35mm and ≤ 0.8mm.
- Elastic Cloth Definition: If a cloth, measuring "100mm x 30mm", extends to or over 106mm under 0.5KG tension force, it is defined as elastic; otherwise, it is inelastic.
- Hard Fabric: Examples include Jeans, fine canvas, etc.
- Soft Fabric: Examples include towel, duster, etc.

- The sewing machine must be switched off with the adapter unplugged when:
- Threading the needle
- Changing the needle
- Changing bottom bobbin
- Changing parts
- Cleaning the machine
- After each use
Cautions:
- Never leave the sewing machine unattended in the presence of children.
- When operating the sewing machine, keep your hands away from the needle, hand wheel, upper thread tension dial, and pattern selection dial.
- To clean the sewing machine, simply wipe it with a soft cloth and never use any harsh chemical solutions.

Troubleshooting
This section helps resolve common issues encountered during operation.

Features
Adjusting Stitching
Proper stitching requires balanced tension between the top and bottom threads.
- Normal stitching should be neat with top and bottom threading neither too tight nor too loose. (Refer to Fig. A).
- If the bottom threading looks like a straight line, the top thread is too loose. Adjust the tension dial clockwise to increase pressure until stitching returns to normal. (Refer to Fig. B).
- If the top thread looks like a straight line, the top thread is too tight. Slowly turn the upper thread tension dial counterclockwise to reduce pressure until stitching returns to normal. (Refer to Fig. C).

Sewing A Buttonhole Manually
Follow these steps to sew a buttonhole:
- Place the cloth under the presser foot and lower it. Select stitch pattern #8.
- Turn on the switch and sew 5-6 stitches at low speed, then turn off the switch. (Fig. 17).
- Select stitch pattern #7, turn on the switch, and sew the desired length. Try to keep the stitch line straight. (Fig. 18).
- Select stitch pattern #8 again, turn on the switch, and sew 5-6 stitches at low speed, then turn off the switch. (Fig. 19).
- Raise the presser foot and rotate the cloth 180°. (Fig. 20).
- Select stitch pattern #7 again, turn on the switch, and sew until the buttonhole is fully formed. (Fig. 21).

12 Stitch Patterns
The sewing machine offers 12 different stitch patterns. To select a stitch:
- Locate the diagrams numbered 1-12 on the front of the sewing machine.
- Choose the corresponding number on the pattern selection dial by aligning it with the arrow. For example, to select zigzag stitch (diagram #6), turn the dial until '6' aligns with the arrow.
- To change a stitch pattern, turn the hand wheel counterclockwise to raise the needle to its highest point, then set the pattern selection dial to the desired stitch type.

Reverse Stitch Button
Reverse sewing (backstitching) is used to reinforce seams at the beginning and end.
- Sew forwards as normal.
- Press and hold the reverse stitch button on the front of the machine to sew backwards.
- Release the button to resume forward sewing.
- The reverse sewing distance is adjustable between 1.5-4.5mm by controlling the duration the button is pressed.
Setting the Sewing Speed
The machine has two sewing speeds:
- Push the 'OFF' button to the 'H' position for high speed.
- Push the 'OFF' button to the 'L' position for low speed.

Work Light
If additional light is needed, press the light switch to turn the light ON. Press again to turn it OFF.
Sewing Sleeves
This machine is designed to sew sleeves or other narrow openings.
- Lift the presser foot.
- Position the garment over the sewing arm.
- Lower the presser foot and follow regular sewing instructions.

Connecting the Sewing Machine to the Mains Power Supply
Follow these steps to connect the machine to power:
- Ensure the "power OFF/L & H speed switch" is in the "OFF" position.
- Connect the DC adapter's jack (Position A) to the DC input socket on the back of the sewing machine. Connect the two-pin plug (Position B) into the main power supply.
- Connect the foot pedal (Position C) to the sewing machine by inserting its jack into the foot pedal input socket on the back.
- You can operate the machine using either the foot pedal (keep the power/speed switch OFF) or the power/speed switch (H for high speed, L for low speed).
CAUTION: Whenever the sewing machine is not in use, ensure it is switched off and unplugged from the main power supply.

Installing the Batteries
The machine can also be powered by batteries.
- Ensure the "power OFF / L & H speed switch" is in the "OFF" position.
- Turn the sewing machine over on a flat surface and remove the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 4xAA batteries into the compartment and replace the cover.
CAUTION: To prevent accidental startup, always ensure the "power OFF/L & H speed switch" is in the "OFF" position when inserting or changing batteries.
Threading the Sewing Machine
Threading Upper Thread:
Caution: Ensure the "power OFF/L & H speed switch" is in the OFF position before threading. Follow these steps:
- Turn the hand wheel counterclockwise until the needle is in its highest position.
- Follow the numbered path indicated on the machine for threading the upper thread.

Needle Replacement
CAUTION: Remove batteries and/or disconnect the AC/DC adapter before replacing the needle.
- Turn the hand wheel to raise the needle to its highest position.
- Hold the old needle and loosen the needle clamp screw. Remove the old needle and discard it responsibly.
- Insert the new needle into the clamp with the flat side toward the right. Ensure the needle clamp is pushed up before tightening the screw.
- Tighten the needle clamp screw.

Winding the Bobbin
Follow these steps to wind a bobbin:
- Place a spool of thread on the spool pin. (Fig. 11)
- Guide the thread through the bobbin winder tension disk on the upper side of the machine. (Fig. 12)
- Place the bobbin on the bobbin winder pin and wind the thread clockwise around the bobbin several times. (Fig. 13)
- Push the bobbin to the left. (Fig. 14)
- Switch on the machine to start winding. (Fig. 15)
- Switch off the machine to stop winding when the desired amount of thread is wound.
- Push the bobbin away from the bobbin winder stop, remove the bobbin from the pin, and cut the thread. (Fig. 16)
Note: Ensure there is no thread in the needle position while winding the bobbin.

Replacing the Bobbin
Follow these steps to replace the bottom bobbin:
- Turn the hand wheel counterclockwise until the needle is in the highest position. Raise the presser foot lifter.
- Slide the bobbin cover button to the right and remove the bobbin cover. (Fig. 3)
- Place the new bobbin in the holder with the thread going clockwise. Leave approximately 10 cm of thread hanging out. (Fig. 4)
- Hold the end of the upper thread with one hand. Turn the hand wheel counterclockwise with the other hand. The needle thread will pick up the bobbin thread and pull it up through the hole under the needle. (Fig. 5)
- Replace the bobbin cover. Separate the two threads and pull them to the back of the machine under the presser foot, leaving about 15cm hanging. (Fig. 6)
CAUTION:
- Always switch off the appliance, disconnect from the power supply, and remove the foot pedal before replacing the bottom bobbin.
- Please use metal bobbins; otherwise, the magnetic holder cannot tension the bobbin thread correctly.

Presser Foot Replacement
This section details how to change the presser foot.
Removing the Presser Foot:
- Turn the hand wheel counterclockwise to raise the needle to its highest position(Ref: Fig. A).
- Raise the presser foot lifter, and press the presser foot locking lever. The presser foot will drop off automatically from the locking device (Ref: Fig. B).
Installing the Presser Foot:
- Place the presser foot under the presser foot locking device.
- Lower the presser foot lifter (Ref: Fig. C).
- Press the presser foot locking device to reset the foot, and lift the presser foot lifter (Ref: Fig. D).
Cautions:
- Always switch Power OFF, disconnect the machine from the Power Adaptor, and remove the foot pedal before replacing the Presser Foot.
- When replacing the presser foot, place the machine on a stable platform.
- When putting down the presser foot, keep your hands or fingers away from the bottom side of the Presser Foot to avoid injury.

Sewing
Instructions for general sewing operations.
- Turn the hand wheel counterclockwise to raise the needle to its highest position.
- Raise the presser foot lifter and place the fabric to be sewn under the presser foot (Fig. 7).
- Lower the presser foot (Fig. 8).
- Rotate the pattern selection dial to select the desired stitch pattern.
CAUTION:
- Before changing the stitch pattern, turn off the switch and raise the needle to its highest point to prevent it from getting stuck and bent.
- Changing the stitch pattern is not allowed while the machine is running; otherwise, the needle and/or machine may be damaged.
- Turn the hand wheel counterclockwise several times to ensure there is no jamming in the stitches.
- Slide the power switch to the Low or High speed position; the machine will automatically start sewing. Low speed is recommended for beginners (Fig. 9).
- When finished sewing, turn off the switch, unplug the adapter, turn the hand wheel to raise the needle all the way up, lift the presser foot, and gently remove the fabric. Cut the thread with the thread cutter (Fig. 10).
Usage Tips:
- If it is difficult to remove the fabric, turn the hand wheel and then gently pull out the fabric.
- If the thread is tangled or jammed, turn the hand wheel and simultaneously pull the thread slightly to release it. The bottom bobbin mechanism is a precise part; avoid pushing or pulling it with fingers or tools, as this may cause damage.
