Main Features

Power Supply Methods

Receiver: Can be powered by 3*AAA batteries or via a USB to Type-C power cable. Promptly replace batteries when the backlight dims or flickers.

TS-FT003 Transmitter: Powered by 6*AAA 1.2V NiMH rechargeable batteries. The included solar panel provides auxiliary power and charging. Use NiMH batteries for reduced replacement frequency. Ensure the solar panel faces sunlight.

TS-FT005 Transmitter: Powered by 6*AAA batteries (ships without batteries).

Note: Ensure correct battery polarity during installation to prevent damage. Battery performance affects data communication.

Installation Instructions

Transmission Distance: Up to 100m in open space, up to 30m through buildings.

Installation Steps

  1. Receiver Power On: After powering on, the receiver displays a full screen for 3 seconds, emits a [BEEP] sound, and shows "1.00" with a flashing empty tank icon.
  2. Water Tank Depth Setting: Enter the water tank depth setting mode. Use the '+' key to increase and '-' key to decrease the value (range: 0.5m to 5m / 1.64ft to 16.4ft). Long pressing the keys allows for rapid adjustment.
  3. Air Gap Setting: Press 'SET' again to set the air gap value (default "0.50"). This is the monitoring distance from the transmitter's bottom sensor to the highest water surface (range: 0.5m to 5m / 1.64ft to 16.4ft). A minimum of 0.5m is recommended for optimal monitoring. Use '+' and '-' keys for adjustment.

Note: If no operation occurs for 15 seconds in setting mode, it automatically switches to normal display. If the receiver displays "[ERROR]" (EEr), it indicates a data setting error. Reset by simultaneously pressing and holding 'SET' and 'AL' keys for 3 seconds.

Transmitter Installation

After setting up the receiver, power on the transmitter. The transmitter sends signals every 30 or 180 seconds.

Transmitter Installation Diagram Description: The diagram shows the transmitter mounted inside a water tank. Key components are the antenna, level bubble for horizontal alignment, installation screws, and the sensor. The tank's radius (R) and maximum measurable depth (H1) are factors. A table relates H1 (measurable depth) to H2 (distance from transmitter bottom to highest water surface), with example values: H1=0.15m requires H2=1m; H1=0.3m requires H2=2m; H1=0.5m requires H2=3m; H1=0.65m requires H2=4m; H1=0.8m requires H2=5m. H3 denotes the maximum depth the transmitter can measure. The transmitter must be installed horizontally, with the level bubble centered.

Important Installation Notes:

Examples of Incorrect Installation:

Note: The transmitter is designed to be splash-proof against rainwater from any direction.

Settings and Operations

Backlight Settings

When powered by batteries, a short key press activates the backlight for 15 seconds. Long press the '+' key for 3 seconds to enable/disable constant backlight. When powered by USB Type-C, the backlight is constantly on by default. Constant backlight mode under battery power consumes more battery.

Time Setting

In normal mode, long-press the 'SET' key to enter time setting. The sequence is: 24/12-hour format -> Hours -> Minutes -> Water Tank Liquid Level Unit -> Exit. Use '+' and '-' keys to adjust values; long press for rapid changes.

Alarm Clock Setting

Press the 'AL' key once in normal mode to switch to the alarm clock display (defaults to "00:00"). Long-press 'SET' to enter alarm clock setting mode. The sequence is: Alarm Clock Hours -> Alarm Clock Minutes -> Alarm Clock On/Off -> HI AL (High Water Level Alarm) -> LO AL (Low Water Level Alarm) -> Exit.

Turn On/Off the Buzzer

The buzzer is ON by default (? icon displayed). In normal mode, long-press the 'AL' key for 3 seconds to turn the buzzer ON or OFF. The ? icon is not displayed when OFF. This setting affects button sounds only, not alarm ringing.

Switching Between Water Tank Level and Temperature Display

In normal mode, press the 'TANK' key to switch the display between water tank level and water tank temperature.

Temperature Range Notes:

Temperature Unit Switch

In normal mode, press the '-' key to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) temperature units.

How to Reconnect the Signal

If the transmission signal is lost, the ? icon disappears. The displayed water level and temperature will hold their last measured values. If reconnection doesn't occur within 1 hour, the water level value will start flashing. To manually reconnect when near the transmitter, press and hold the 'TANK' key for 3 seconds in normal mode.

Note: The maximum interval between transmitter signal transmissions is 3 minutes. If connection attempts fail, check transmitter functionality, replace the battery, and restart the transmitter. For the fastest connection, power on and set up the receiver first, then power on the transmitter.
