Device Overview
The Shelly EYE is a smart camera with 3G & WiFi connectivity. It streams live video, saves videos to the Cloud or an SD card, and can send motion and audio detected alerts. It supports two-way audio and has an integrated battery providing up to 24 hours of recording without a power supply. It can function as a standalone device or as an accessory to other home automation controllers.

CAUTION! Use the Device only with a power grid that complies with all applicable regulations. Connecting the Shelly Eye to a power grid where a short circuit occurs may damage the Device.

The Shelly Eye Mobile Application
The Shelly Eye app allows you to control and adjust all Shelly® Eye Cameras from anywhere in the world, provided you have an internet connection.
Initial Set-Up
Upon first opening the Shelly Eye mobile app, you need to create an account to manage your Shelly Eye® cameras.
Registration
- Download and install the Shelly Eye mobile application. Scan the QR code on the box or visit Google Play (Android) or App Store (iOS) for installation.
- Open the app and create an account by clicking the 'Register' button.
- Input your email and password.
- Validate your account.
- Open the app again and press the 'Sign In' button.
Forgotten Password
If you forget or lose your password, enter the email address used during registration. You will receive instructions on how to change your password.
WARNING! Be careful when typing your email address during registration, as it will be used for password recovery.

Device Inclusion
To add a new Shelly camera, connect it to the power grid.
Step 1
Choose "Add Device" (fig. 4). To add more Devices later, use the app menu at the top right corner of the main screen and click "Add Device".
Step 2
Scan the QR code placed on the Shelly Eye. Upon successful scan, the UUID of the Device will be shown below the QR code frame. Press the tick sign at the top right of the screen (fig. 5).

Step 3: Select Setup Mode
- Mode 1: If you have not inserted a SIM card and hear a voice prompt when the Device boots up, press 'Voice Prompt'.
- Mode 2: If you have inserted a SIM card, press 'No Voice Prompt'.
WARNING: If the Device does not prompt with "Waiting for connection", or if you want to add the Device to another Wi-Fi network, reset it. To reset the Device, press the button 10 consecutive times; the LED will turn purple. The Device will restart. If it does not, repeat the process or contact customer support at: support@shelly.cloud.

MODE 1: Wi-Fi Setup
Step 1:
When you hear the voice prompt, enter the Name (SSID) and password of your WiFi network (fig. 7).
Step 2:
A tip on how to proceed will be displayed (fig. 8).
Step 3:
You will hear a voice prompt to scan a QR code on your phone with Shelly Eye. Place your phone's screen in front of Shelly Eye and wait for the camera to scan the QR code (fig. 9).

Step 4:
Press 'Next' when you hear the voice prompt indicating that Shelly has scanned and connected successfully.
Step 5:
Your Shelly Eye will connect to your WiFi and be added to your account (fig. 10).
Step 6:
You will hear a voice prompt confirming successful connection. Press 'Start Using' (fig. 11).

MODE 2: 3G Setup
Step 1:
Press on 'No voice prompt' (fig. 6).
Step 2:
Your Shelly Eye will connect through mobile data and be added to your account (fig. 10).
Step 3:
You will hear a voice prompt confirming successful connection. Press 'Start Using' (fig. 11).
Warranty Terms
- The Device's warranty term is 24 months, starting from the date of purchase by the End User. The Manufacturer is not responsible for extra warranty terms provided by the End Seller.
- The Warranty is valid for the territory of the EU and is applicable in compliance with all relevant laws and user rights protections. The purchaser is entitled to exercise their rights in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Warranty terms are provided by Allterco Robotics EOOD (Manufacturer), incorporated under Bulgarian law, with its registered address at 109 Bulgaria Blvd, floor 8, Triaditsa Region, Sofia 1404, Bulgaria. The company is registered with the Commercial Register kept by the Bulgarian Ministry of Justice's Registry Agency under Unified Identity Code (UIC) 202320104.
- Claims regarding the Conformity of the Device with the terms of the contract of sale should be addressed to the Seller, according to their terms of sale.
- Claims regarding damages such as death, bodily injury, deterioration, or damages to objects other than the defective product, caused by a defective product, are to be claimed against the Manufacturer using the Manufacturer's contact data.
- Users can contact the Manufacturer via email at support@shelly.cloud for operational problems that can be resolved remotely. It is recommended to contact the Manufacturer before sending the Device for servicing.
- The terms for removing defects depend on the Seller's commercial terms. The Manufacturer is not responsible for untimely servicing or faulty repairs carried out by unauthorized service.
- When exercising rights under this warranty, the User must provide the Device with the receipt and a valid warranty card with the date of purchase.
- After a warranty repair, the warranty period is extended for the duration of the repair.
- The warranty does NOT cover damages to the Device occurring under the following circumstances:
- Inappropriate use or wiring, including electric shock, short circuit, or other problems in the power supply, power grid, or radio network.
- Self-repair attempts, faulty installation/uninstallation, modification, or readjustment by unauthorized persons.
- Intentional or negligent improper handling, storing, or transportation, or non-observance of instructions.
- Use of non-standard power supply, network, or faulty Devices.
- Non-compliance with the warranty card and/or lack of a purchase receipt, or forgery of these documents.
- Damages caused regardless of the Manufacturer, including floods, storms, fire, lightning, natural disasters, earthquakes, war, civil unrest, unforeseen accidents, robbery, water damage, ingress of liquids, weather conditions, solar heating, sand intrusion, high/low temperature, or air pollution.
- Reasons beyond manufacturing defects, including water damage, liquid ingress, weather conditions, solar overheating, sand intrusion, humidity, high/low temperature, or air pollution.
- Mechanical damages (forced opening, breaking, cracks, scratches, deformations) caused by impact, fall, another object, misuse, or failure to follow instructions.
- Exposure to severe outdoor conditions (high humidity, dust, extreme temperatures). Proper storage terms are specified in the User Manual.
- Damage caused by faulty accessories or those not recommended by the Manufacturer.
- Damage caused by the use of non-original spare parts or accessories unsuitable for the specified Device model, or after repairs/changes by unauthorized personnel.
- Damage caused by faulty Devices.
- Damage caused by faulty software, computer virus, harmful online behavior, or lack of/incorrect software updates not provided by the Manufacturer.
- The scope of warranty repairs does not include periodical maintenance, inspections, cleaning, adjustments, checks, bug fixes, or program parameter changes. The warranty does not cover wear of the Device, as these elements have a limited lifespan.
- The Manufacturer is not responsible for any property damage caused by a defect in the Device, nor for indirect damages (loss of profits, savings, claims by third parties) or personal injury arising out of or related to the use of the Device.
- The Manufacturer is not responsible for damage caused by circumstances independent of the Manufacturer, including floods, storms, fire, lightning, natural disasters, earthquakes, war, civil unrest, unforeseen accidents, or theft.
Safety Usage
- Never use the device at temperatures below 0° C or above 40° C. Use the Device only within the 0° C to 40° C range. Exposure to extreme temperatures may damage the device or harm your health.
- Do not expose the Device to direct sunlight for extended periods.
- Do not expose the Device or its components to open flame or throw it into fire.
- Do not throw, scratch, or drop the Device. It is NOT shockproof.
- Always clean the Device with a dry cloth.
- Do not expose the Device or its components to moisture/liquids. Do not use it underwater. The device is NOT waterproof.
- Do not use cleaning products or chemicals, as they can damage the Device.
- Do not place the Device directly on sand.
- If a child breaks the Device, gather the parts and prevent them from swallowing any small parts, which can cause suffocation or injuries.
- Always remove the charger from the outlet after fully charging the battery.
- Do not allow children to charge the battery.
- Do not connect faulty USB cables and chargers to the Device.
- Do not manipulate the battery. Improper use may result in fire or explosion.
- Do not attempt to breach the design or components of the Device (including the battery) or modify them.
- Do not open, hit, step on, or violate the integrity of the Device.
- Do not interfere with the integrity of the USB power cable (do not twist, tear, bite, pull, cut, or violate its integrity).
- Avoid contact with magnets.
