Introduction to Shelly®
Shelly® is a brand of innovative devices enabling remote control of electric appliances via mobile phone, PC, or home automation systems. Shelly® devices connect using WiFi and can operate within the same WiFi network or via remote access through the Internet. They can function standalone, managed by a home automation controller, or through a cloud service, accessible from anywhere with an Internet connection.
Each Shelly® device features an integrated web server for adjustment, control, and monitoring. Devices support two WiFi modes: Access Point (AP) and Client Mode (CM). In Client Mode, a WiFi router must be within range. Shelly® devices can communicate directly with other WiFi devices via HTTP protocol.
An API is available from the Manufacturer. Shelly® devices can be monitored and controlled even when outside the local WiFi network range, provided the WiFi router is connected to the Internet. The Shelly Cloud function can be utilized, activated via the device's web server or the Shelly Cloud mobile application.
Users can register and access Shelly Cloud via Android or iOS mobile applications, or any internet browser and the website: https://my.shelly.cloud/.
Installation Instructions
CAUTION! Danger of electrocution. Even when the device is turned off, voltage may be present across its clamps. Never disconnect or reconnect clamps before ensuring all local power is disconnected.
CAUTION! Do not connect the Device to appliances exceeding the maximum load capacity.
CAUTION! Connect the Device only as shown in these instructions. Any other method could cause damage and/or injury.
CAUTION! Before installation, read the accompanying documentation carefully and completely. Failure to follow recommended procedures could lead to malfunction, danger to life, or violation of the law. Allterco Robotics is not responsible for any loss or damage due to incorrect installation or operation.
CAUTION! Use the Device only with power grids and appliances that comply with all applicable regulations. Short circuits in the power grid or connected appliances may damage the Device.
RECOMMENDATION: The Device may be connected to and control electric circuits and appliances only if they comply with the respective standards and safety norms.
