ECHELON™ SERIES CENTRAL DEHUMIDIFIERS

Every moment deserves Coleman® comfort

Indoor Air Quality Solutions for Your Comfort and Health

Protect Your Home

High humidity affects wood flooring, cabinets and furniture with warping and structural damage. Bathroom and kitchen fixtures and basement walls that get wet with condensation are a breeding ground for mold. By removing excessive humidity, a central dehumidifier preserves your furnishings -- and your peace of mind.

Protect Your Health Against Mold, Allergens

When indoor relative humidity is above 60%, allergens, dust mites and molds thrive -- triggering asthma, allergies and respiratory infections. Our high capacity central dehumidifiers reduce humidity to protect against the spread of mold and other allergens.

A chart illustrates optimal humidity ranges. Below 30% relative humidity is too dry, potentially leading to issues like viruses and bacteria. Between 30% and 60% is the optimum range for comfort and health, free from bacteria, viruses, fungi, mites, and allergic rhinitis/asthma. Above 60% relative humidity, conditions become too moist, fostering bacteria, viruses, fungi, mites, and allergic rhinitis/asthma.

Outfit Your Home for Total Comfort with Echelon™ Whole Home Dehumidification

"It's not the heat, it's the humidity" -- that's what folks say to describe the discomfort of high humidity. Running the air conditioner more frequently doesn't always help lower indoor humidity. Often, it just runs up the electric bill. Coleman® offers a smarter way to reduce humidity with the Coleman® Echelon™ Series Central Dehumidifier for whole house dehumidification. It removes water vapor from your entire home, leaving you more comfortable while reducing air conditioning costs.

Feel Comfortable Without Overcooling

You'll never again have to overcool your home to reduce indoor humidity. That's because the Echelon™ central dehumidifier is integrated into your home comfort system to reduce annual cooling costs up to 18% while increasing comfort. Dehumidification lets you raise your thermostat by several degrees, making you feel more comfortable while running your air conditioner less.

Peace of Mind and Easy Maintenance

Enjoy the Peace of Mind of a Five-Year Warranty

You can count on the performance and dependability of a Coleman® Echelon™ central dehumidifier, because it's backed by a 5-year limited warranty.

You'll Like the Easy Maintenance, Too

A central dehumidifier is easy to maintain. Instead of emptying messy water trays, moisture is automatically drained away. Simply change the on-board air filter once every 12 months.

How Whole Home Dehumidifiers Work

The Echelon™ central dehumidifier is installed as an integral part of your home's heating and cooling system. The dehumidifier pulls air from every room and can exchange it through the return duct, removing moisture and cycling dry air back through the ductwork, returning dry air back to you.

Diagram Description: The diagram shows a central dehumidifier integrated into a home's HVAC system. Humid air is drawn from the whole home into the dehumidifier. Inside, it passes over a cold coil (condensing coil) where moisture condenses and is drained away via a drain tube. The dehumidifier then returns dry air back to the HVAC system, which distributes it throughout the house. Components shown include: Humid Air IN, Condensing coil, Drain tube, Evaporating coil filter, Drain pan, Dry air OUT, Back draft damper. The system connects to the HVAC fan and cooling coil, and supplies dry air to the house while returning humid air from the house.

Whole Home Dehumidification is Easy to Handle

Portable dehumidifiers cannot handle the continual infiltration of water vapor throughout your home. A more effective solution is to have a central dehumidifier integrated into your central cooling system to efficiently dehumidify every room.
