- Power on a new mesh router. Place it within the wireless coverage of another mesh router. The optimal distance is no more than 20 meters. Consider the following suggestions:
- Do not exceed two walls between the master mesh router and the slave mesh router; the maximum distance should not exceed 20 meters.
- Keep the router away from interference sources such as microwave ovens, induction cookers, and refrigerators.
- Position the router higher from the ground with fewer obstructions around for better performance.
- When the new mesh router is powered on, wait for approximately 60 seconds for the startup process to complete.
- Ensure the master mesh router is online. Press the WPS button on both the master and slave mesh routers successively. The Wi-Fi indicator and WPS indicator will start blinking.
- After about 2-5 minutes, the WPS indicator on the master mesh router and the new mesh router will turn off, and the Wi-Fi indicator will turn white, indicating a successful network connection.
Note: To add another new mesh router, repeat the above steps.
