1 Download Yale Access App
Create an account if you don't already have one, then tap "Set Up a Device".
Already have a Yale Access or an August account? Log in using your existing username and password, and select "Set Up a Device".
Available on Google Play and the App Store.
2 Scan QR Code
In the app, scan the QR code located inside the lock's battery compartment or below when prompted to begin setup.

3 Install Lock
Warning: Do not insert batteries until prompted by the installation guide.
For installation, refer to the helpful step-by-step videos in the app or the paper instructions in the box.
If you have an optional Yale Smart Module, you'll be guided by the app to set it up.

4 Set Up Home Key
To use home keys, iPhone® XS or later with iOS 15 or later or Apple Watch® Series 4 or later with watchOS 8 or later are required.
Follow instructions in the Yale Access app to set up the home key feature. Enter the 8-digit HomeKit accessory code below when prompted to begin setup.
