These tankless electric water heaters feature advanced electronic temperature control for consistent output, preventing dry firing and Legionella bacteria growth. They are designed for easy installation with 3/4" NPT connections and are seismic-proof.

Tempra® Plus models are equipped with Advanced Flow Control™, which slightly reduces water flow to maintain the set hot water temperature if demand exceeds the unit's capacity. Regular Tempra® units do not feature this technology.

Dimensions and Certifications
The unit is a compact, vertical cylinder designed for wall mounting. Key dimensions are: Height: 14 1/2 inches (369 mm), Width: 16 5/8 inches (420 mm), Depth: 4 5/8 inches (117 mm). The housing is made of powder coat painted steel with a hinged front cover.
Certifications include: Certified to ANSI/UL Std. 499, Conforms to CAN/CSA E335-1 & E335-2-35. Tested and certified by WQA against NSF/ANSI 372 for lead-free compliance.
Tempra® tankless electric water heaters are suitable for whole house or multiple point-of-use applications, and also for booster applications accepting a maximum incoming water temperature of 131°F/55°C.
Specification Details
The tankless electric water heater is equipped with multiple copper sheathed heating elements housed in copper cylinders. The number of elements varies by model (3 for 12 kW, 4 for 14.4/19.2 kW, 6 for 24/28.8 kW, 9 for 36 kW). Each cylinder has a dedicated single-pole bimetal high limit switch with manual reset (interrupts power at 185°F). Heating elements are controlled by triacs (power transistors) cooled by incoming water. A flow sensor with a miniaturized turbine provides water flow rate information to the main circuit board. Output temperature is adjustable between 86°F and 140°F via a front cover knob. Water connections are 3/4" NPT flex hose connectors. Tempra® Plus models feature Advanced Flow Control™ for consistent output temperature.
