About This Product

The PIC® Portable Insect Killer Torch is a solar-powered alternative to traditional oil-burning torches. It effectively kills bugs on contact, charges in direct sunlight, and provides up to 6+ hours of operation on a full charge. When darkness falls, the integrated LED flame creates ambiance while the UV light and 600-volt zapper function as a standard bug zapper.

Choosing the Location

For optimal charging, place the product in direct sunlight outdoors. It is recommended to position it away from your main outdoor living area to draw insects towards the zapper. The unit is weatherproof and can be placed on a table or hung from a hook.

Directions for Use

For best results, install the unit at the beginning of the season and leave it in place until the end. To activate, press the black power button located on the torch. The product charges during the day and automatically turns on in darkness, running for 6+ hours on a full charge. For off-season storage, keep the original packaging and this manual. Press the power button to turn the unit OFF before storing.

Cleaning and Maintenance

To clean, unscrew the bottom catch bin and discard insect debris. For any remaining debris on the lantern or electrical grid, use canned compressed air or a hair dryer on a cool setting. Avoid spraying water or cleaners directly on the product.

This product is designed for outdoor use. Regularly check for accumulated debris and dead insects, which can pose a fire hazard.
