LASD Replacement (On Body)
Step 1: Pre-Cleaning
Pre-wash/clean vehicle prior to disassembly. Power wash the undercarriage area at the repair site.

Step 2: LASD Removal
Remove sound deadening material from the affected repair area using a scraper or chisel.

Step 3: Surface Prep
Scuff the surface with a maroon Scotch-Brite™ hand pad. Blow off the area with compressed air and clean with APCD (Automotive Pre-Cleanant/Degreaser).

Step 4: Application
Mask the area and apply seam sealer. Re-create the desired appearance and texture of NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) material using appropriate tools such as notched spreaders, brushes, scuff pads, or compressed air. Remove perimeter masking following the tooling process and prior to final cure.
