How to Operate

1. Band Switching

Long press the band and channel adjustment button (④) for 5 seconds. The green LED will start blinking. Short press button ④ to cycle through frequency bands (A, B, E, F, R, L). The corresponding blue LED will flash to indicate the selected band: 1 flash for Band A, 2 flashes for Band B, 3 flashes for Band E, 4 flashes for Band F, 5 flashes for Band R, and 6 flashes for Band L.

2. Frequency Channel Switching

Short press the power adjustment button (⑤) to cycle through channels 1 to 8. The green LED will flash each time the button is short-pressed, with the number of flashes indicating the channel: 1 flash for CH1, 2 flashes for CH2, ..., 8 flashes for CH8.

3. Power Output Switching

Short press the power adjustment button (⑤) to cycle through power levels: 25mW, 400mW, 800mW, 1500mW, and 2500mW. The red LED will flash to indicate the selected power level: 1 flash for 25mW, 2 flashes for 400mW, 3 flashes for 800mW, 4 flashes for 1500mW, and 5 flashes for 2500mW.

Pit Mode: Long-press the power adjustment button (⑤) for 5 seconds to enter or exit Pit mode. When Pit mode is activated, the red LED remains on continuously, indicating minimal power output for safe setup.

Betaflight Configuration

To configure the TOTEM II VTX using Betaflight Configurator:

  1. Connect your flight controller to your computer and open Betaflight Configurator.
  2. Navigate to the "Ports" tab.
  3. Find the appropriate UART port used for VTX control (e.g., for SmartAudio or IRC Tramp). Select "IRC Tramp" from the dropdown menu for the "Peripherals" setting.
  4. Click "Save" and then "Reboot" the flight controller.
  5. After rebooting, go to the "Video Transmitter" page in Betaflight Configurator.
  6. Click "Load from file" to upload a configuration profile.
  7. Locate the corresponding .json suffix map transfer profile file (e.g., "TOTEM 5.8Ghz 2.5W VTX Configuration file.json").
  8. Click "Open" to load the file.
  9. Click "Save" after loading the configuration profile to apply the settings.
