Safety Information

• USE ROUND CABLE ONLY. The round main cable should be at least 6.8 mm in diameter.

• If the product does not light, check for electricity failure and secure connections.
• Consult a qualified electrician if unsure about installation or use.

Installation Guide

Step 1: Power Off

Turn off the main power supply at the fuse box or circuit breaker before starting installation. Ensure the switch is in the OFF position.

Step 2: Mark and Drill Mounting Points

Measure and mark the desired location for the batten. Mark the positions for the mounting brackets, ensuring they are spaced appropriately (e.g., 112 cm apart for the main body). Drill holes at the marked points, ensuring the depth is suitable (e.g., 3.8 cm).

Step 3: Attach Mounting Brackets

Secure the mounting brackets (02 x2) to the surface using the provided screws (03 x4) and wall plugs (04 x4). If mounting on surfaces other than masonry, use appropriate fixings.

Step 4: Attach the Batten

Align the batten with the mounted brackets and attach it. This may involve clipping or screwing the batten onto the brackets.

Step 5: Wiring Connections

Prepare the mains cable. Ensure it is a round cable (H07RN-F 3 x 1-1.5 mm², minimum 6.8 mm diameter). Strip the cable ends. Connect the wires to the terminal block (07 x1) inside the batten. Observe correct polarity: Live (L) to Brown or Red wire, Neutral (N) to Blue or Black wire, and Earth (=) to Green/Yellow wire. Ensure the cable is securely clamped to create a water seal.

Step 6: Secure the Batten

Ensure the batten is fully secured to the mounting brackets. Attach end caps (06 x1) if applicable.

Step 7: Install LED Tubes

Insert the 22 W (LED) G13 LED tubes (not included) into the designated sockets within the batten. Ensure they are correctly seated.

Step 8: Final Checks and Power On

Double-check all connections and ensure the batten is securely mounted. Restore power to the circuit. The light should now operate.

Care and Maintenance

• Always disconnect the product from the mains and allow it to cool down before performing any maintenance.
• Clean the exterior of the batten with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Periodically check that all connections remain secure and that the water seals are intact.
