Intended Use
This charger is exclusively intended for charging batteries of the PARKSIDE PAP 20 A1/A2/A3/B1/B3 series. This battery pack is suitable for the PARKSIDE X20V Team series.
The device is not intended for commercial use. Any other use or modification of the device is considered non-intended use and poses significant accident risks. The manufacturer assumes no liability for damage resulting from non-intended use.

Using and Handling the Battery Pack
- Only charge batteries with chargers recommended by the manufacturer. If a charger designed for a specific battery type is used with other batteries, there is a risk of fire.
- Only use batteries intended for the power tool. Using other batteries can lead to injuries and fire hazards.
- Keep unused batteries away from paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects that could bridge the contacts. A short circuit between battery contacts can cause burns or fire.
- Improper use may cause liquid to leak from the battery. Avoid contact. If accidental contact occurs, rinse with water. If the liquid gets into your eyes, seek medical attention. Leaked battery fluid can cause skin irritation or burns.
⚠️ CAUTION! EXPLOSION HAZARD! Never charge non-rechargeable batteries.
Protect the battery from heat, e.g., from prolonged direct sunlight, fire, water, and moisture. Explosion hazard exists.
Additional Safety Instructions
- Do not use damaged or modified batteries. Damaged or modified batteries may behave unpredictably and cause fire, explosion, or injury.
- Do not expose batteries to fire or excessive temperatures. Fire or temperatures above 130 °C (265 °F) can cause an explosion.
Safety Instructions for Chargers
- Follow the charging instructions and never charge the battery or the power tool outside the temperature range specified in the operating instructions. Incorrect charging or charging outside the permitted temperature range can destroy the battery and increase the risk of fire.
- This device can be used by children aged 8 years and above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or have been instructed on the safe use of the device and understand the resulting hazards. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
- If the power cord of this device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service, or a similarly qualified person to avoid hazards.
- The charger is only suitable for indoor use.
Getting Started
Charging the Battery Pack
⚠️ CAUTION! This charger can only charge the following batteries: PAP 20 A1/PAP 20 A2/ PAP 20 A3/ PAP 20 B1/ PAP 20 B3. An up-to-date list of compatible batteries can be found at www.lidl.de/akku.
WARNING! If the power cord of this device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service, or a similarly qualified person to avoid hazards.
CAUTION! Always unplug the charger before removing or inserting the battery pack from/into the dual quick charger.
NOTE: Never charge the battery pack when the ambient temperature is below 10 °C or above 40 °C. If a lithium-ion battery is stored for a long time, its charge status must be checked regularly. The optimal charge level is between 50% and 80%. It should be stored in a cool, dry place at an ambient temperature between 0 °C and 50 °C.
Insert one or two battery packs into the dual quick charger 4.
Plug the power plug into the socket.
LED Indicators
The charge status of each battery pack is indicated by the respective LEDs 1/2/3 and the accompanying graphics:
- LED 1 ? blinking: Battery pack is empty.
- LED 2 ? blinking: Battery pack is charged to 1/3.
- LED 3 ? blinking: Battery pack is charged to 2/3.
- All LEDs ??? illuminated continuously: Battery pack is fully charged.
CAUTION! If all LEDs ??? blink, the battery pack is overheated and cannot be charged.
When the charging process is complete, disconnect the dual quick charger 4 from the mains and remove the respective battery packs.
Between successive charging operations, switch off the dual quick charger 4 for at least 15 minutes. To do this, unplug the power plug.
Cleaning
CAUTION! Always unplug the charger before cleaning it.
Do not clean the charger with water.
Clean the device with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
Maintenance and Storage
If the device is not used for a longer period, remove the batteries and store the device in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight.
If a lithium-ion battery is stored for a longer period, its charge status must be checked regularly. The optimal charge level is between 50% and 80%. The optimal storage climate is cool and dry.
Never service damaged batteries. All battery maintenance should only be performed by the manufacturer or authorized service centers.
Warranty

Dear Customer, You receive a 3-year warranty on this device from the date of purchase. In case of defects in this product, you have statutory rights against the seller. These statutory rights are not restricted by our warranty described below.
Warranty Conditions
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt. This is required as proof of purchase.
If a material or manufacturing defect occurs within three years of the purchase date of this product, we will, at our discretion, repair, replace, or refund the purchase price free of charge. This warranty service is conditional upon presenting the defective device and the proof of purchase (receipt) within the three-year period, along with a brief written description of the nature and occurrence of the defect.
If the defect is covered by our warranty, you will receive the repaired or a new product back. Repair or replacement of the product does not start a new warranty period.
You receive a 3-year warranty on the X12V and X20V Team series battery packs from the date of purchase.
Warranty Period and Statutory Warranty Claims
The warranty period is not extended by the warranty service. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts. Any damages and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs carried out after the warranty period has expired are subject to a charge.
Scope of Warranty
The device has been manufactured according to strict quality standards and has been conscientiously checked before delivery.
The warranty applies to material or manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover product parts that are subject to normal wear and tear and can therefore be considered wear parts, or for damage to fragile parts, such as switches or glass parts.
This warranty becomes void if the product is damaged, used improperly, or not maintained. For proper use of the product, all instructions in the operating manual must be followed precisely. Uses and actions that are discouraged or warned against in the operating manual must be strictly avoided.
The product is intended for private use only and not for commercial use. The warranty is void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use of force, or interventions carried out by unauthorized service centers.

Disposal
The packaging protects the device from transport damage. The packaging materials have been selected according to environmental compatibility and disposal technical aspects and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging to the material cycle saves raw materials and reduces waste. Dispose of packaging materials that are no longer needed in accordance with local regulations.
Do not dispose of electrical tools in household waste! In accordance with European Directive 2012/19/EU, used electrical tools must be collected separately and sent for environmentally sound recycling.
Do not dispose of batteries in household waste! Defective or used batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC. Return the battery pack and/or the device via the offered collection points.
For information on disposal options for obsolete electrical tools/battery packs, please inquire with your municipal or city administration.
Dispose of packaging in an environmentally friendly manner. Observe the markings on the various packaging materials and separate them if necessary. Packaging materials are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the following meaning: 1–7: plastics, 20–22: paper and cardboard, 80–98: composite materials.
