Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Install EdgeTX Companion

   Download and install the EdgeTX Companion software on your computer. You can obtain it from the official EdgeTX website or the HelloRadioSky Website. The relevant links are:

2. Install Radio Driver (Zadig)

   Install the Zadig radio driver on your computer. This driver is essential for your computer to communicate with the radio. Download Zadig from the EdgeTX website or the HelloRadioSky Website. The links are:

3. Download Firmware

   Download the firmware file for your V16 device to your computer. You can find the firmware on the HelloRadioSky Website. The link is:

4. Prepare the Remote Control

   Before proceeding with the firmware writing process, ensure your remote control is turned off. Connect the remote control to your computer using the supplied USB-C (Type-C) cable. Once connected, the device should appear in your computer's device manager. Look for an entry named "STM32 BOOTLOADER" typically listed under "Universal Serial Bus devices" or "Software devices".

5. Replace STM32 BOOTLOADER Driver

   2. Navigate to the "Options" menu and select "List All Devices". This action will display all connected USB devices.
   3. From the drop-down list of devices, locate and select "STM32 BOOTLOADER".
   4. Click the "Replace Driver" button. If a driver is already installed, this button might appear as "Reinstall Driver".

   After the driver installation or replacement is successfully completed, EdgeTX Companion will be able to properly communicate with your remote control for firmware writing.
