Layout

Transmitter Unit

The Transmitter unit features the following ports and controls: an HDMI input port for the source signal, an IR Extender Out port, an IR blaster extension port, and an RJ45 output port for the CAT6 cable. It also includes a Reset button and a Signal link LED indicator.

Receiver Unit

The Receiver unit includes an HDMI output port to connect to a display, an IR IN port for IR receiver connection, a Power Input port (DC5V), and an RJ45 output port. Indicator lights on the receiver show Power status, HDbitT signal input, Data transmission activity, and Network link status. A Reset button is also present.

Application

Standard Application

In a standard setup, a single HDMI Extender Transmitter (TX) is connected via CAT6 Ethernet cables to multiple HDMI Extender Receivers (RX). The transmitter receives the HDMI signal from a source device, such as a DVD player. Each receiver is then connected to a display device like a TV. This configuration facilitates direct, point-to-point extension of the HDMI signal.

Cascaded Application

For extended distribution, the system can be cascaded using a LAN switch. The HDMI Extender Transmitter (TX) connects to a LAN switch, and multiple HDMI Extender Receivers (RX) also connect to the same switch. This setup allows for a larger distribution network, enabling the use of more than the standard number of receivers by leveraging existing network infrastructure.
