- Compartment "8": for special additives, softeners, fragrances, etc.
- Compartment "2": for washing detergent.
A liquid detergent cup (fig. 10) may be included for compartment "2", usable for bleach with the "Rinse" program.
WARNING: Some liquid detergents are hard to dissolve. Dilute with warm water. Use only 20% of the recommended detergent quantities shown on the detergent pack.
WARNING: Installation faults are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
3. Practical Tips
Load Tips
WARNING: When sorting laundry, ensure:
- No foreign objects (coins, hair clips, pins, keys) are in the wash load. Check all pockets.
- Buttoned pillow cases, closed zips, tied loose belts, and long robe ribbons are secured.
- Rollers are removed from curtains.
- Clothing washing labels are carefully read.
- Persistent stains are removed using specific detergents.
- When washing rugs, bedcovers, or other heavy clothing, avoid spinning.
- To wash wool, ensure the item is machine washable by checking the fabric label.
Helpful Suggestions for the User
A guide to environmentally friendly and economic use of your appliance.
Maximise The Load Size
- Achieve the best use of energy, water, detergent, and time by using the recommended maximum load size. Save up to 50% energy by washing a full load instead of two half loads.
Do you need to pre-wash?
- For heavily soiled laundry only! Save detergent, time, water, and 5-15% energy by NOT selecting Prewash for slight to normally soiled laundry.
Is a hot wash required?
- Pretreat stains with stain remover or soak dried stains in water before washing to reduce the necessity of a hot wash program. Save up to 50% energy by using a 60°C wash program.
Before Using a Drying Programme (Washer-Dryers)
- Save energy and time by selecting a high spin speed to reduce water content before drying.
Follow detergent use recommendations for various temperatures. Always read detergent instructions for correct use and doses.
- Heavily soiled whites: Use cotton programs at 60°C or above with a normal heavy-duty washing powder containing bleaching agents for excellent results.
- Washes between 40°C and 60°C: Use detergents appropriate for fabric type and soiling level. Normal powders for whites or color-fast fabrics with high soiling; liquid detergents or color-protecting powders for colored fabrics with light soiling.
- Washes below 40°C: Use liquid detergents or those specifically labeled for low-temperature washing. Dilute viscous liquid detergent with warm water if necessary.
- Washing wool or silk: Use detergents specifically formulated for these fabrics.
4. Maintenance and Cleaning
Clean the washing machine exterior with a damp cloth, avoiding abrasives, alcohol, and solvents. Clean drawer compartments and the filter regularly.
Drawer Cleaning
- Clean the drawer to avoid accumulating detergent and additive residue.
- Extract the drawer, clean it with running water, and reinsert it.
Filter Cleaning
- The washing machine has a special filter to trap large residue (buttons, coins) that could clog the drain.
- ONLY AVAILABLE ON CERTAIN MODELS: Pull out the corrugated hose, remove the stopper, and drain water into a container.
- Before unscrewing the filter, place an absorbent cloth underneath.
- Turn the filter counter-clockwise.
- Remove and clean the filter, then replace it turning it clockwise.
- Repeat steps in reverse order to reassemble.
Suggestions for Moves or Prolonged Disuse
- If the washing machine will not be used for an extended time and stored in a cold area, drain all water from hoses to prevent freezing.
- Unplug the washing machine.
- Detach the hose from the strap, lower it, and drain water into a bowl.
- Secure the drain hose with the strap when finished.
WARNING: Unplug the machine prior to cleaning.

The standard manufacturer warranty covers faults caused by electrical or mechanical faults due to the manufacturer. Faults caused by factors outside the product, misuse, or failure to follow instructions may incur charges.
The use of ecological detergents without phosphates may cause:
- Cloudier rinse drain water (due to suspended zeolites).
- White powder (zeolites) on laundry at the end of the wash (normal, not absorbed by fabric, does not change color). Select a rinse program to remove zeolites. Consider using less detergent in the future.
- Foam in the water at last rinse (does not indicate poor rinsing). Consider using less detergent.
- Abundant foam (due to anionic surfactants). Do not re-rinse. Consider a maintenance wash with a proprietary cleaner.
If the problem persists or you suspect a malfunction, contact an Authorized Customer Service Centre.
It is recommended to use original spare parts.
Warranty
The product is guaranteed under the terms and conditions on the certificate included with the product. Proof of purchase must be available for warranty-related repairs.
The manufacturer declines responsibility for printing errors and reserves the right to make changes without altering essential characteristics.
