Smart Wireless Doorbell
Support POE and Unlock
Before using the product, please read the quick guide carefully and keep it for future reference.
1. Getting Started
Doorbell Components:
- Dimensions: 139.4mm height, 68.6mm width, 37.5mm depth.
- Waterproof Cover
- Night vision LEDs
- Microphone
- 1080P Camera
- Keypad
- RFID card reader
- Call Button
- SD Card Slot
Indicator Light Status:
- Indicator light flashing: Device is waiting to begin pairing.
- Indicator light always on: Wi-Fi is connected.
1.App Download - TUYA Smart HOME APP
Scan the QR codes to download the apps:
- Tuya Smart app
- Smart Life app
2. User Register
New users should register by following the guide steps. Already registered users can log in.
Register:
- Select Region (e.g., China)
- Enter Mobile Number/Email
- Tap [Get Verification Code]
- Agree to User Agreement and Privacy Policy
Log In:
- Select Region (e.g., China)
- Enter your account
- Enter Password
- Tap [Log In]
- [Forgot Password] link available.
3. Add Device
Select device type: Security & Video Surveillance -- Smart Doorbell.
App interface examples show navigating to add a device, selecting categories like 'Video Surveillance' and then 'Smart Doorbell'.
4. Connection
Select 2.4 GHz WIFI Network and enter password (5G is unavailable).
4.1 QR Code Connection (Recommended)
Use your smartphone to scan the QR code from 10 to 15 cm away. Wait for the device to emit a prompt beep. Click 'I Heard a Prompt' to confirm connection success. Ensure your phone and device are as close to your router as possible.

4.2 WI-FI Mode
Select the status of the indicator light or listen for the beep:
- AP Mode
- EZ Mode

4.3 Cable Connection (Recommended)
Use a network cable to connect the WIFI router and the doorbell cable connector.

5. Device Added Successfully
App screen shows 'Adding device...' with a progress indicator and a preview of the doorbell feed. A timestamp '2022-03-16 16:15:06' is visible.
NOTICE: Fail To Connection:
If connection fails, the second user needs to long-press the reset button for 1 minute and wait for the reboot. Simply quitting the Tuya app account or powering off/on is not sufficient for reconnection.
6. The Way of Connection
Option A:

7. Unlock the Door
App screen shows an 'IP Door' interface with a 'Lock' icon. A prompt 'Are you sure to unlock?' appears with 'Cancel' and 'Confirm' options.
8. Device Sharing
*Support up to 10 mobile phones to connect online at the same time.
Step 1: Create a home (Setting a Home Name)
App interface for 'Home Management' showing options to 'Create a home' or 'Join a home'. Users can enter a 'Home Name', 'Location', and add 'Rooms' like Living Room, Master Bedroom, etc.
Step 2: Add member (Enter member's TUYA account)
App interface for adding a member, with fields for 'Name', 'Region', and 'Account'. A note states that the account owner becomes a family member and gains access to functions only after accepting the invitation.
A mobile notification example shows: 'Wednesday, March 16, 4:37. Home Message: [User Name] has invited you to join home [Home Name]. You can accept the invitation in "My > Home Management" and join the home.'
Keyboard layout is shown for input.
Step 3: Choose the home and Add Device.
App interface shows 'My Home' with existing homes. A 'Confirm Invitation' pop-up asks if the user wants to join the home 'Xc'. Options are 'Decline' and 'Accept'.
9. Motion Detection
*Insert the SD Card to support PIR Motion detection feature.
App interface shows 'Detection Alarm Settings' with 'MOTION' enabled. Options include 'Motion Detection Alarm' and 'Alarm Sensitivity Level' (e.g., Medium). 'ALARM TIMER SETTINGS' and 'Schedule' are also present.
*Make sure to turn on push notifications on your smartphone.
Notification Examples:
- 'IP Door: Motion detected. IP Door has detected movement.'
- 'Motion detected. Домофон квартира has detected movement. Сигнал тревоги сейчас' (Motion detected. Apartment intercom has detected movement. Alarm signal now)

10. MicroSD Card
- SD card slot is located at the bottom of the outdoor unit.
- With an SD card, features like Motion detection and Playback video are supported.
- Max support is 128G SD card. Use high-quality SD cards for better performance.
- Before use, format the SD Card by computer and APP.
- For 8G/16G/32G SD cards, format with FAT32 on the computer.
- For 64G/128G SD cards, format with exFAT on the computer.

*Check the SD card Storage and Format

11. About Cloud Storage Service
*According to personal needs, purchase the reasonable Cloud storage.
*Additional chargeable features include: Door Chime (optional), Amazon Alexa, Google Home.

12. Set up your Wireless Chime
Connect the Video doorbell to the doorbell chime to receive instant alerts when someone rings the doorbell. The chime plugs into any wall outlet and can be placed anywhere in the home.
Notice: The wireless chime is optional. If it is not installed, doorbell notifications will go directly to the Tuya Smart Home App.

14. Getting Started (Wireless Chime Setup)
Set up your chime with the video doorbell.
Step 1
Before setup, ensure your video doorbell is connected to your phone and plug in your chime.

Step 2
Press the 'Tune' Button to cycle through 50 different tunes and select a tune.

Press and hold the 'Volume' Button for 5 seconds until the blue indicator is ON.

Press the Call Button on the doorbell.

Press the Call Button again. The chime will automatically play the tune you selected.

Settings
16.1. Memory reset for password and RFID key
- Press the [SET] button for 3 seconds and release until a long beep is heard.
- Shortly press it 3 times; 3 long beeps will be heard.
16.2. Master password setup
- In standby mode, enter the master password (default: 123456) and press [#] to enter settings mode. A double long beep will be heard.
- Press [0] and [#] to enter master password setup mode. One long beep will be heard.
- Enter a new 6-digit password and press [#]. One long beep will be heard.
- Press [*] to exit into standby mode. Double short beeps will be heard.
16.3. Unlock password setting
- In standby mode, enter the master password (default: 123456) and press [#] to enter settings mode. A double long beep will be heard.
- Press [1] and [#] to enter user password setting mode. One long beep will be heard.
- Set a 3-digit cell number from 000 to 199, and press [#]. One long beep will be heard.
- Set a new 6-digit user password and press [#]. One long beep will be heard if successful. If the cell is already occupied, double short beeps will be heard.
- Users can add new passwords for new cell numbers. Set new 6-digit user passwords after setting the new cell number. Press [#] to confirm.
- Press [*] twice to exit into standby mode. Double short beeps will be heard.
Example: Add password 333333 for cell number 003 and 444444 for cell number 004.

16.4. Unlock password deleting
- In standby mode, enter the master password (default: 123456) and press [#] to enter settings mode. A double long beep will be heard.
- Press [2] and [#] to enter user password deleting mode. One long beep will be heard.
- Set a 3-digit cell number from 000 to 199, and press [#] to delete the password. One long beep will be heard. Enter 99 instead of the cell number and press [#] to delete all user passwords.
- Users can continue deleting passwords by entering their cell numbers and pressing [#] after each cell number.
- Press [*] twice to exit into standby mode. Double short beeps will be heard.
Example: Delete passwords from cell numbers 003 and 004.

16.5. RFID key setting
- In standby mode, enter the master password (default: 123456) and press [#] to enter settings mode. A double long beep will be heard.
- Press [3] and [#] to enter wireless unlock key setting mode. One long beep will be heard.
- Enter a 3-digit cell number from 000 to 199, and press [#]. One long beep will be heard.
- Add the keys one by one to the recognized area within 20 seconds. One long beep will be heard if successful. Double short beeps indicate the cell number is already used.
- Users can add extra new keys for new cell numbers. Set a new cell number and press [#], then add the new keys to the recognized area one by one within 20 seconds.
- Press [*] twice to exit into standby mode. Double short beeps will be heard.
Example: Add RFID key into cell number 003.

Tips: Alternative way to add unlock keys:
In standby mode, press [SET] button shortly → Reader the keys one by one → Press [SET] to exit.
16.6. RFID key deleting
- In standby mode, enter the master password (default: 123456) and press [#] to enter settings mode. A double long beep will be heard.
- Press [4] and [#] to enter wireless unlock key deleting mode. One long beep will be heard.
- Enter 99 and press [#] to delete all RFID keys.
Example: Delete all keys.

16.7. Keyboard backlight setup
- In standby mode, enter the master password (default: 123456) and press [#] to enter settings mode. A double long beep will be heard.
- Press [7] and [#] to enter keyboard backlight setup mode. One long beep will be heard.
- Modes for options:
- 00# - keyboard backlight disabled all the time
- 01# - keyboard backlight enabled all the time
- 02# - keyboard backlight enabled in working mode and disabled in standby mode.
- Press [*] to exit into standby mode. Double short beeps will be heard.
Example: Enable keyboard backlight only in working mode.

17. INSTALLATION
Installation Steps:
