QUICK GUIDE
TRIPLE 4K DISPLAY DOCKING STATION
Setup and Connection
Step 1: Power Connection
Connect the included power adapter to the Dock. The dock will automatically turn on. To turn the dock off, press the power button located on top of the dock.

Step 3: DisplayLink Software Installation
Download and install DisplayLink Software on your host device from: https://satechi.net/pages/displaylink-instructions. DisplayLink software is required for HDMI and DisplayPort outputs in Display 2 & 3 groups to function.
[Diagram: The DisplayLink logo is shown, featuring a cloud icon, symbolizing the software's functionality.]
Port Functionality
Step 4: USB-A and USB-C 3.1 Ports
Use the USB-A and USB-C 3.1 ports for fast charging and data transfers up to 10Gbps.
Note: These ports do not support CD readers, including Apple SuperDrive.

Step 5: USB-C Data Port
Use the USB-C data port for data transfers up to 5Gbps.
Note: This port does not support charging or CD readers, including Apple SuperDrive.

Step 6: Audio I/O Jack
Attach audio devices (e.g., headphones, microphone) to the 3.5mm Audio I/O jack. You will need to adjust sound output/input settings in your host device's System Preferences (e.g., System Preferences > Sound > Output/Input > USB Audio).

Step 7: Gigabit Ethernet Port
Connect an RJ45 Ethernet cable to the dock's Gigabit Ethernet port for network speeds up to 1Gbps.
[Diagram: Close-up view of the docking station's ports showing an RJ45 Ethernet port. An Ethernet cable icon (?) is shown connecting to this port, indicating network connectivity up to 1Gbps.]
Step 8: USB-A 3.0 Ports
Use the two USB-A 3.0 ports for file transfers up to 5Gbps.
Note: These ports do not support charging or CD readers, including Apple SuperDrive.

Multi-Monitor Setup
Step 9: DisplayPort Monitors
Connect up to two DisplayPort-enabled monitors using DisplayPort cables. This connection utilizes DisplayLink technology.
[Diagram: Visual representation of the docking station's DisplayPort outputs. Arrows point from these ports to monitor icons (?️), indicating connection for external displays via DisplayLink.]
Step 10: HDMI Monitors
Connect up to three HDMI-enabled monitors. One HDMI connection must be via Display 1 (using DP Alt mode), and the others must use HDMI in Display 2 & 3 via DisplayLink.

Text indicates 'DP Alt mode' for Display 1 and 'DisplayLink' for Displays 2 & 3, signifying different connection modes for multi-monitor setup.]
Attention:
- When connecting via USB-A, the host device will not receive power.
- DisplayLink software is required for multi-display support (up to three external displays).
- When connecting to a USB-A host device with the included adapter, only video groups 2 and 3 will function via DisplayLink. Video group 1 will not function.
- Before powering off the Docking Station, ensure all external storage devices are properly ejected to prevent data damage or corruption.
