Installation

  1. Locate a mounting area for the camera that allows electrical connection to the trailer's marker light circuit and provides a clear view of the rear area. Ensure at least 5 inches of the camera's antenna extend above the trailer's roof line.
  2. Prepare the trailer and camera:
    • Wipe the mounting surface clean.
    • With the antenna base up, rotate the camera downwards for viewing angle.
    • Remove the protective film tape from the back of the camera. [See Fig. 2]
  3. Drill an approximately 1" diameter hole for the ground wire and power supply, then apply silicone sealant to the hole.
  4. Ensure trailer power is off. Connect the camera's red power wire and black ground wire:
    • Connect the camera black wire to the unit ground wire.
    • Connect the camera red wire to the marker light circuit.

Note: Use wire strippers if needed to expose bare wire for a good connection.

  5. Secure the camera with two OEM-supplied #8 pan head screws. [See Fig. 3]
  6. Apply all-weather silicone sealant around the camera perimeter and screw heads.
  7. Screw the antenna clockwise to the antenna base. [See Fig. 3]
