This document provides installation instructions and user information for the Philips Valor Ultra Efficient LED outdoor wall light.

Safety and Specifications

Installation Guide
Follow these steps carefully for safe and correct installation.
Step 1: Prepare for Mounting
[turn off power] Ensure the main power supply is switched OFF at the circuit breaker before proceeding.
The luminaire is constructed from materials such as Inox, Stainless Steel, Inoxydable, Edelstahl, Roestvrij Staal, and Acero Inoxidable.
Diagram shows attaching the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws and wall plugs.
Step 2: Secure the Mounting Bracket
Use a screwdriver to firmly attach the mounting bracket to the wall.
Step 3: Drill Mounting Holes
Diagram shows using a drill to create pilot holes of approximately Ø4mm for the mounting bracket.
Step 4: Mark and Drill for Wall Plugs
Hold the mounting bracket against the wall, ensure it is oriented correctly with the "UP" indicator ⬆️ pointing upwards. Mark the positions for the wall plugs. Drill holes of approximately Ø6mm and insert the wall plugs.
Step 5: Connect Wiring
Strip wire ends to approximately 18-22 mm, exposing 7 mm of conductor.
Use wires conforming to 60245 IEC 57, with a minimum cross-section of 2x1.0mm² and a maximum of 2x1.5mm².
Connect the Live (L) wire to the 'L' terminal and the Neutral (N) wire to the 'N' terminal. Ensure connections are secure. Diagram shows correct ✔️ and incorrect ❌ wire insertion.
Step 6: Attach Luminaire Body
Align the luminaire body with the mounting bracket and secure it using the provided screws.
Step 7: Close the Luminaire
Attach the luminaire cover. It should click into place, indicating it is securely closed. [click sound]
Step 8: Final Check
The luminaire is now mounted and ready for power connection.
Step 9: Attach Decorative Cover
Secure the decorative outer cover using the remaining screws.
Step 10: Restore Power
[turn on power] Switch the main power supply back ON at the circuit breaker.
